How To Connect Salus SD600 Smart Smoke Detector ( Salus Smart Home ) Part of the IT600 Series

My name is Allen Hart and in today's video I'm going to show you how to connect your Salus SD600 Smart Smoke Detector to your Smart Home network. This is part of the Salus Smart Home range.
The SD600 is a smart smoke detector that can be controlled via the Salus Smart Home app as part of the Salus Smart Home network.
To start, twist the base off to reveal the battery. You will see the battery and a small plastic tab. Remove the tab to activate the battery. In the box you'll find a small pin. You'll need to insert that into the small hole on the side of the SD600. Do this for three seconds to enter pairing mode.
Now we need to go on the Salus Smart Home app on the phone or your PC. Tap onto the three lines, click onto settings, click onto setup equipment
Then we just click on to scan for equipment. That could take a couple of minutes just to load up onto the screen.
We can now see the smart detector has come on there. So we just click onto that,
Connect equipment and then again it's just going to ask us to name the equipment. So I'm just going to put "smart wall" for this. Then just click on next and then we just click on finish and that's now on the app.
The SD600 can now be installed wherever you wish. Not only will it detect smoke but can also be used to send email or text notifications if you've got them enabled. You can also use the Salus One Touch rules to create many other demands and take advantage of this product as part of the Salas Smart Home network. We'll cover the One Touch rules in more detail in a future video.
