All those other products are not in the same league as the Yamaha 801. most modern theatre systems are inferior to the old school systems and really shouldn't be compared, check more reviews on the Yamaha you'll find it's one of the best amps money can buy! it's old school high performance with a DAC.

Oh dear, you are making me feel just a little dated with my 30 plus year old Pioneer VSX- D307 - 100 Watts of pure sound pleasure. It feels like a comfortable pair of quality shoes that keep walking way past their shelf life! Perhaps I should not have watched this video, otherwise, I would not feel the need for something more up to date! Old Pioneers never die, they just get louder!
Yamahas too. Best capacitors in them Black Gate capacitors. Pure quality. I got a Yammy AVC-30U 100W per channel also with surround and its used every single day, left on all night long and running 2 x subs too.
