  • Wait a guinea isn't a chicken?! What's a guinea for? These birds originated on the west coast of Africa and are featured in architectural ruins that are more than 4,000 years old. Known for their ability to rid your yard of bugs and alert you to an intruder better than many a dog, the guinea is also a source of rich, flavorful meat considered a delicacy in parts of the world.
Comb Style: Well... it's guinea. Not a chicken...
    Broodiness: Yep
