Beautiful, clever, and unique projects. I, too, was instantly fascinated by your handy silicone hot glue tool. At first I thought it was a brush,. Besides saving yourself from burns, I thought it was such a clever way to smooth the glue as you go. Hot glue is a crafting staple, but I personally don’t like when it glops up and shows, making projects look sloppy and cheesy. Thanks for the ideas. -- By the way, Marta pointed me in your direction and I’m so glad she did.

Holly, please make a statement in a video for other diy crafters. Check with their local landfill to see if they save leftover paints that don't belong in the landfills and they give the paints out for free. I got most of my craft paints for large projects from the landfill. I got stains and paints and I can also mix my own colors. We painted the entire inside if our new house with these free paints too!

My husband and I taught ourselves how to macramé when we were young and I don’t remember a lot about it. But it really is quite easy to learn from a book. I believe it was ‘HOW TO MACRAMÉ’. Seriously. Lol. Anyhow if you crochet or knit you’ll be a natural. It is a beautiful art and it does help to have someone helping to have 2 more hands. Wonderful video. Thanks!💜

TIP: In case someone doesn't know, you can buy silicone fingers (they slide on your fingers so you can work with them on, that will allow you to work with hot glue and not burn your fingers. DT, Amazon, and other stores have them. I bought mine years ago at JoAnn's in the ironing section. I love mine!

I like how you did the paint. It creates an almost ombré look. Ha! I type comments as I watch. I had just typed that it looked ombré and you commented that it looks ombré.
Really like the way you up cycles the box jar. The tribal design on the outside is unique and definitely boho.

Mary Guy I made the first video before the lockdown so now it probably would be better if you call and ask if they’re going to throw the wood away to please leave it outside for you. Lowes is really cool about that but it definitely varies from manager to manager and from store to store. If you’re watching and much love to you Mary! 🥰❤️
Fear not I will give Lowe’s time to collect some before I call them. It’s a 45 mile trip to the closest store and I’m not interested in dealing with the crazy people I think they need to hit the road as soon as their cage is open. The closest store is in Virginia where nearly 1000 cases were identified overnight. Plus the memory foam on the sofa won’t let go of my ass.
