Not a Wolves supporter but this was a great video. He definitely has that Master and Commander buzz about him. Liked the way he greeted everyone as one pro to another. When he stared out the window at the others training, you could feel his desire to be out there. Magic.

Back in 2012 or 2013 I sat down with my son to watch a match with one of our mutual favorites Radamel Falcao and Atletico Madrid live - Falcao was hardly present, but this other guy was tearing up and down the lines, weaving and dodging about, and in everyone's face, not least the ref - driving opposition team crazy and I was "lightening lovestruck" - I asked my son - who is this amazing guy? And my son said - oh that's just Diego Costa.....the rest is history...🙂

What a comment, I once went to a Barcelona game vs athletico, he was playing off falcao. I knew right away that he was one hell of a player. He’s touch and ball retention was something else! Totally agree with your observation.

Costa in 2014 was a beast, key to Atletis la liga victory, he won pichichi that year, he was the spear of our attack, his positioning, speed, strength, runs, finishing all were incredible
i remember those times, Atletico would play him more or less out wide on the right just to accomodate Falcao, but everyone could see who was the one really making things work
This lad only been there for 5 minutes and he’s already behaving like a boss and leader. Hope he can replicate his Chelsea form again for Wolves and bang in goals. Really looking forward to see him play and his shenanigans 🧨💥

His admiration to go and talk to all squad players, with humour and respect shows he’s got a heart of wolves gold. Costa will bring fun and aggression to the team which is what is needed for our next chapter.

Used to hate him when he played against us because he was such a crazy character to deal with and will bring in 110% effort and intensity whenever he steps in. And he has served well in the Spanish national team especially in the legendary game against Portugal in 2018.

I'm a Chelsea fan and sort of agree. He's one of the main reasons we won two league titles and since he's left we've not looked close to even competing for one. Even though he was at the club for only three years, he's definitely one of the club's best strikers of all time.

So jealous as an Atleti fan. His presence alone on the bench was good enough for us. Unfortunately his injuries made us unable to resign him although he needed to leave. Wish he have a consistent injury free season. Seeing him and his style of play is facinating to watch.
