You will learn to appreciate the backup cam once you get used to it and drive a car without it. I will never have another car without one. Install is very nice.
WOW!!! NICE!!! very nice!!! I have the same exact color, make and model and I love my sonata!!! Shes got those gorgeous sleak curves all around. The blue lighting interior and that nice overall sporty look. Very happy with it!!! But now I'm all jealous ober here with my lame stock stereo and your over there all decked out. The bass control knob is a nice touch!!! Sometimes you just want a lil more or less bass on demand and its quick easy, simple and looks BETTER than factory in my opinion.
Love the install because I was looking to do the same to my 2.0t cause Hyundai dropped the ball with the sound system...I have the M-class Memphis for now until I maybe install my Diamond Audio D15 and the MTX 1501D...thanks again

Its called research my friend, Google (and the internet) can be your good friend!!! Also, its a little bit of trial and error. And of course youtube I think would be your best friend in this situation, if your one of those hands on, visual type of people. Its actually surprisingly a lot easier to do than you think!!!
Did you use the factory xm satellite antenna plug or did u have to get an adapter ? I don't wanna use an external antenna it looks dumb and I wanna keep the factory look
hey man, can you tell where the stock subwoofer in the sonata is? i have a 2012 hyundai sonata gls & im looking to install these two 10inch orion speakers in a probend box. i also have a 1000w californa mono amp thts gonna power them but when i opened up the back & tried to find the stock sub it wasn't there im not sure if its just hyundai or not but i think it might be up in the front under the dash... i never bought a surround system for my car before so this is the first time im doing it. i could really use the help. thanks for reading man, i hope i hear back from you soon.
You did a really nice job with your turbo sonata radio setup.I have a 2009 sonata and the radio stinks im just thinking about just putting a sub only with a small amp.But not to side track when my 2009 sonata went into the shop for a factory recall they gave me the turbo sonata limited.I always wanted to buy this car but i notice alot of road noise to the car and i was wondering does your sonata does the same thing when u have the windows closed wit no music on does ur car just has alot of road noise but u did a great job with the radio peace

Dam this setup is badass, if I had unlimited money to spend, this is exactly what I would want to do to my 2012 2.0t sonata, looks clean and custom it's awesome, especially the built in woofer in the trunk. Now comes the real question, did you do it yourself and how much did it cost????

This was soo long ago, I can't really remember all of the parts. Sorry. But most of them should be shown in the trunk in the vid. You can get that scosche kit anywhere online.
Shelby have you already tried this install? The video is for a Sonata limited but WILL NOT work for a sonata turbo limited. The 2.0 limited does not have that small lcd that shows the time on top of the double din unit. You may be able to buy that part separate but it's no guarantee that would be all you need.
If you find a solution that does fit please post it or let me know. The bluetooth on my car started failing two years ago and I really don't want a direct replacement of the radio and would rather have screen, navigation, other apps
Not sure what you're asking, all the steering wheel controls still work, I think it's just the call button that doesn't work so we programmed that one as a preset search.
