Lebhafte und wunderschöne Aufführung dieses spätromantischen und ein bisschen ethnisch kompnierten Meisterwerks mit gut vereinigten und perfekt entsprechenden Tönen aller Instriumente. Der intelligente und erfahrene Dirigent leitet das ausgezeichnete Orchester im relativ schnellen Tempo und mit möglichst effektiver Dynamik. Einfach wundervoll!

It's been a great joy to attend this concert which had been the official inauguration of the new Kronberg Academy Concert Hall, named the Pablo Casals Forum. Hopefully the hr officials will also share the Brahms violin concerto featuring Christian Tetzlaff as soloist.

The orchestra sounds wonderful, as always. But how does Eschenbach's somewhat random baton-waving qualify as conducting? He must somehow do a great job of preparing the ensemble in rehearsal.
