I don't recognize any of her competitors in this race except Morgan Uceny and Maryam Yusuf Jamal. She benefited from such a weak year. She would have had zero chance with the recent Trinity of women's mile: Dibaba (2012) , Hasan (2014), Kipyegon (2013)as well as Tesgay (2016)and Muir (2014)

What a shocker. In 2011, Jenny was an unknown in international races; did great on the big stage and launched her wonderful career.
What a shame for Morgan. The best 1500 runner in the world in 2011. Still, big congrats to Jenny. Perfect tactical race.

It's easy to think that because that's exactly what I think but it is definitely easier said than done.
One very big upset, Simpson was a relative unknown going into this event. Great race.
