hey . .I was curious how you were running your 57 into the VP. Is it straight into the unit or are you getting gain somewhere else and routing back to the VP? Also love whatever you using to put the boutiques vertical on your left and right.
@@PhilGillis I'm running the 57 directly into the VP. The 3V power the VP supplies seems to be enough. The stands are at kvgear.com/products/boo-3. I love 'em! Peace \/.
Well Freestyle aka pretty tony on the production had the svc350 (the Vp03 is very close to it but no in synth input). My friend and i tested how close. The dvp1 nice. That was always more pitch shifter ah la maggatron then vocoder but killer you did it with 1.
awesome you mention Pretty Tony . . we backed Debbie Deb (among others) and I think you're getting that vocoder sound pretty good for what it is ..so far I haven't got it with the included mic and only used internal speaker so no surprise. Your video shows it can be done. Very familiar with the svc350 but couldn't get one and the DVP1 was available but it worked for Freestlye, Trinere, Egyptian Lover, Kyper, Debbie Deb, etc. I couldn't tell if you were running the 57 straight into it or processing it somehow and then going to VP. Funny story on the Debbie Deb . . ALL of her hits, I was able to make everything off of a Juno 60 and then we sampled things and used Ensoniq EPS at the time. . but that one board did it all :-) Love the videos and information! thank you for replying. I subscribed and look forward to any more Miami bass things you may do (among others)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went crazy when I saw you using the Yamaha dx reface because im about to get mine very soon. The weather recently in texas delayed my package.
