They became associated with Christmas because of the porridge giving ritual, where your household is essentially cursed if you forget to leave the offering of porridge with a piece of butter on top to them on Christmas day
i always feel a bit uncomfy abt those "breed out the weird/ugly" challenges some simmers do. deciding which features constitute as "normal" when theres real people who look similar to that, and even if its not the first "gen" bc of blue skin or whatever but the second or third. hope you dont take this as hate i love watching your reviews and stuff 💞🎅
