Yeah it's a cover but artists put their art out for interpretation so I don't get why everyone is getting so salty that the cover isn't just like the original song. It's just an interpretation of the original
I think the salt comes from a sheer amount of "homage" and " tributes" that come out from ( talented) singers ripping songs by artist that happen to be HipHop. We see POC artists coming out with track and 5 minutes later 10,000 wyt girls with guitar " tributes" are flooding the feeds. This happens with all artist it isnt just a POC thing. Yeah the girls got some pipes. I like the cover. I'm just explaining the knee jerk reaction to the covers.
