Required materials:
*.Two capsules used
Your favorite coffee
Aluminum Foil grill (a little thicker than standard)
Knife
Instructions:
Lower part of a rounded capsule cut - remove the foil and discard the used coffee. (be careful not to damage the nylon, which is located in the middle of the capsule) capsule with water and towel dry. Now fill your coffee capsule and gently push
The second capsule open on the upper side, remove the nylon, which is above the machine, removing machine, remove the foil and black filter below. Capsule rinse and dry. Now cut off top part of capsule to remove the upper edge (approximately the middle of the capsule). Now in the lower part of the return capsule black filter and put it on foil we put on the lower cut diameter capsules (can be a little larger in diameter but should not be less, which is essential for sealing and pressure). Now connect the capsule with a coffee and a capsule with a filter.
Capsule put cash into the machine but pay attention to the hole as a result of previous use of that plane in the middle of the girder because the needle has to go through it again. And still know

3 days I was thinking about how to modify the capsule because I went on a long trip with a truck in which I need coffee. This is my first video, and all were taken in a hurry because there was no time to prepare, and that day because I was late for work, but I'm glad that I helped others and gave ideas. Today recorded clips which are much shorter but equally or better cursed procedure. A worthy replacement of this procedure could be a metal capsule, which I ordered and I was tested

After trying for so long and actually at first even thought that I broke my coffee machine lol I finally made it and i opened it.
After cleaning it inside/out now works perfectly and my coffee is better than before!

At first I was putting in too much espresso. Like 32 grams! lol... was wondering why I didn't feel like I slept last night. Then started using my scale. Measuring out 8 grams per shot. It's a beautiful thing! Thanks again.
Wow, that's the simplest AND least error prone (doesn't flood your machine with grounds) method I've tried!
By the way, leave the transparent foil in the topmost unit (prevents coffee foam from rising into the machine).
Also, you don't need to mess with the filter or replace the alu foil above it. Just leave it there.

by putting the foil in the bottom it's means pressure has to build up for the foil to pierce itself against the points on the plastic disc below it.
Nice trick. I'm gonna try this out myself, Dolce Gusto capsules are so expensive. Enjoy your coffee! :)
One tip on mixes. If you want a 12 oz cup of coffee, add a small amount of butter milk in with the milk, and you can make a little more milk before it becomes watery. I usually put a little sugar in the milk capsules as well... If you like chocochinos, try a milk capsule with a little bit of bit of coco powder. Add that to a half a cup of hot chocolate and once you get the ratios down it is the same flavour. You can use a capsule for the hot chocolate, or you can just stir it in.
I like the idea about refilling the capsules, it's cheaper and you get better coffee. It just takes to long IMO... I bought my Dolce Gusto coffee maker because it was the fastest way to get a cup of coffee (not counting freeze dried products) ... and that kinda looses its point when you have to use 2-4minutes on refilling a capsule. But seen through environmental glasses I see the point, there is alot of waste with these capsule coffee makers!

For espresso, I slice off the top foil and the bottom of one. For a second, I splice it down the middle at the location of the foil. This gives me 3 sections, with a double rim on top for a very tight seal. I'm still not happy though. The heat still deforms the capsules, so I don't get as many re-uses as I would like before they start leaking.
hvala za video psiho. cena kapsula me odbijala od kupovine ovog aparata, ali sa ovim modom definitivno pada jedan krups piccolo.
You see, I saw some videos that people tell that you can only use soluble coffee if you dont want your machine to get wet and dirty out and inside. In fact i did try some stuff, and i got really worried i could have broke my Dolce Gusto®.
I would like to know if it is possible to do it regular coffee if no danger to the machine. I mean:

Still working on perfecting this. My current technique varies only slightly. Milk capsules I cut the foil off the top of one, and the bottom off the other. This means when I put them together I get a double rim and a very tight seal. So long as I remember to flush fresh water through afterwards, I can re-use the same capsule dozens of times.
Da li tu foliju koja ide preko filtera treba da izbusim ? I u cemu je fora sa menjanjem filtera ?

Da to je malo komplicirano, ali ja si pripremim 30-ak komada i vakumiram . Stvar je u tome da je ideja tu i čekam da kinezi nešo poduzmu u vezi proizvodnje kapsula za višekratnu upotrebu . Nešto slično kao što je napravljeno za nespreso

Hvala, vidiš toga se nisam sjetio jer već mjesec dana imam potragu za gril foliom i nemogu je naći. Dao si mi dobar savijet jer obična tanka folija mi začepi rupe na filteru i onda kava slabo prolazi kroz kapsulu i stvara preveliki pritisak

Here are the problems with this. 1st it is unsanitary. In the top portion there is pocket separated by plastic. In that area, water accumulates. Which means if you put your reused capsule aside for reuse later you may have mold growing in there that will go straight into your coffee. Another problem is after a some re-uses the capsules start to leak out the sides on top. This happens much sooner if you attempt to blow out the water in the top section with your lungs.

With this method, I had no problems, but there are some I did earlier. I think this is the best method. No need for adhesive tape because the conical capsule, a cone is known to make a very good sealing. No need to worry about Coffeemaker
probaj staviti malo manje kave ili grublje samljevenu. Pazi na radijus folije . Kada spojiš gornji i doljni dio kapsule on ti stisne foliju na rubovma i ona ti bude zategnuta kao onaj najlon u sredini. Ja sam foliju rezao po čašici koja je otprilike istog promjera kao unutarnji dio kapsule. Javi rezultat

@docbillnet Turns out the three segment method has problems. Each time you run hot water through the capsules they deform a bit. The smaller you make the capsules, the quicker they deform. So in three segment capsules I only get less than a half a dozen reuses before the top no longer fits. For now, the better option seems to be to use the method described in this video and just flush out the capsules with fresh water every day.
@milstanyu Kad uđeš u štos za jednu kapsulu ti treba najviše 3 minute. Ja ih napravim 20-30 kom i vakumiram u male vrećice , a kad dođem blizu kraja opet ih napravim toliko
uradio sam sve po uputstvu. jel se vama desava da vam mlaz kada se pravi kafa prekida? imam utisak kao da se malo muci aparat pa prekida.. desava li se jos nekome?
Folija se ne buši. Kada se u kapsuli napravi pritisak oni plastični fileri probuše foliju. Ne razumijem kakvo mijenjanje filtera? Mijenja se samo folija koja ide na filter. Filtera ima dvije vrste : bijeli (za čaj, mlijeko..) i crni (za kavu)
If you are going to do that then a Capsule machine is not for you.
After my wife pointed out the sanitary problem, we started working on a new procedure. We are still using two capsules to build one re-usable, but we are doing three section. Bottom for the filter, middle for the plastic divider, and one for the top. You can get both the top and bottom from one capsule and a middle section from a second capsule. If I don't notice any problems over the next couple of days, I'll post a video that demonstrates.
lavazza ili segafredo. Ma nije bitno, stavi koju ćeš ali bi bilo dobro da je malo krupnije mljeveno npr . ona za aparate. Ide ti i ona što kuhaš doma

A gledaj zasto ne pokusas ovako, ovako ja radim i mislim da je puno lakse...
Uzmes kapsulu od mlijeka jer je lakse za ocistiti... Na vrhu kapsule (moze biti i iskoristena) gdje je vec probusena rupa napravis nalo vecu rupu da kroz tu rupu mozes ocisititi ostatke od mlijeka u prahu (izaperes vodom samo) a takodje i ubaciti svoju kafu. Dakle ocisitis mlijeko u prahu i zatim ubacis svoju kafu. Ne treba ti veca rupa od nekih 1,5 cm, mozes komotno ubaciti...
But, what about the taste Of Dolce Gusto, it never matches with original capsules

A ha. skužio sam. Problem je u tome što takvu kavu možeš napraviti i sa običnim cjedilom za rinfuzo čaj, a to znači da ju preliješ sa vrelom vodom. Nije to onda to. Ovaj aparat radi na sličnom principu onog iz kafića . Znači da bi kava bila kvalitetnija i ukusnija bitan je pritisak a za njega nam je potrebbna ona prozirna folija u sredini i na dnu iznad filtera alu folija
Stavis u aparat tako da igla koja probija onu foliju ide na dio koji nisi ostetio (meni ostane nekih 70% neostecenog dijela) I to je to... Mislim da je rezultat isti kao u tebe a jednostavnije je puno. Probaj pa javi.
Uradim sve i posto nemam onu gril foliju stavim duplu obicnu, i kad krene aparat da radi kao da ne moze da probije to, al kad izvadim folija je izbusena :/ ne znam sto... kafa jedva da curi.
Kakvu kavu stavljaš nutra?

Ma to je samo da se vidi da je filter očišćen od stare folije i da za kavu mora biti crni. Što se folije tiče trebala bi biti za gril jer je ona debljine kao i original ,ali ako je nemaš stavi dva sloja obične

PODS are expensive: 0,3Euro per POD divided by 5 grams coffee content equals 66 Euro / kg - beans are between 7 and 20 Euro / kg.
If in your household you drink more than 4 coffees per day FORGET Nespresso, Dolce Gusto, Lavazza and any form of PODS.
Just buy a decent espresso machine with grinder costing between 300 and 600 Euro. If you drink 0,5kg coffee per month, you will save (66-10)/2= 28 Euro each month, 336 Euro per year so you pay your machine in 1/2 years - after will be money for you
seriously by the time you were done it would too late for that cup of coffee!!!

@psiho051 Thanks, I did try it today, actually. It worked pretty good! Didnt seem to me, though, that the taste was that good. But maybe thats the regular powder I have here at my place at the moment.
But I did have some trouble getting the pin right in the hole. I saw you mesure the place of the hole with a knife in your video, but I have nothing to compare in the drawer of my machine. I should probably get a way to dont miss it anymore.

In 2010, I don't think they could be bought. With these capsules the coffee was not good because no pressure could be made in the capsule

@psiho051 Ne, kazem ti si unistio, ne ja. :) Salim se naravno, bio sam happy kad sam video ovaj klip, ali mi se cini da je ovo ipak prekomplikovano. Inace imam DG skoro od kad se pojavio i uvek sam se pitao da li je ovako nesto moguce. Cinjenica je da su kapsule preskupe.
