I'm left speechless and in awe of this. This is the most astounding Fanvideo I have ever seen! The accuracy, the beauty of the science presented and your creativity brought me to tears. The amount of work required to put to this together is unfathomable. This should be shown in every science class to instill the awe of science and nature in our youth.

"The deepest solace lies in understanding" I think this cosmic truth is so huge once accepted. It brings peace to ones heart and mind. Especially when we understand the nature and power of the universe, and accept our lack of understanding as well.

I never thought that a song/music video would bring me to tears, but here we are. This video and song, true to its name, is beautiful. Normally this sort of stuff gives me something of an existential crisis, but not this, I am instead left in total awe, deafened with endless love. I indeed, am shuddering before the beautiful.

this video makes me want to pursue a career as scientist, really. i wanted to become a scientist for a long time now, but maybe i should really try to now. there is nothing that is as satisfying than understanding existence. the greatest pleasure one can feel is the pleasure to unravel the mysteries of life.
Belias, just do it (if you still didn't). Pursue your dream and your thoughts. I always wanted the only thing - to understand. To know. How it all started. It was (and still is) my last wish (if there's going to be something like that :D) ever since.
I've just came home from the Voyage of time movie. It blew my mind. The first song that came on my mind after leaving the cinema in silence was this one (even if I haven't listened to Endless forms most beautiful for couple of months). I came home and wrote down some ideas of mine. I went on youtube to share this song on fb and found your comment. It's like you sitting in my head. One of the things I wrote down is - I always wanted to be a scientist, to find a meaning of life.
Now I am going to pursue my dream finally, too. After four years spent on university, I decided to start again and try to understand what's going on a bit. ;)

Well you are lucky that you can go to any university you want without having to pass an international test. Here in greece when you finish school you write an international test and then you see at what university you are going to go. Btw most students do not pass the test. And they don't go to university....
Do it. If you can, get into Academia (federally funded research done in university labs, etc) cause industrial science is a lot of mass production and ends up being busywork. In academia even if you're only a Bachelor's degree, you get to spread your wings comfortably enough to get that sense of wonder out of whatever it is you're researching. (at first it is best to grab whatever job you can and not be picky, then once you get a couple years lab experience under your belt you can start perusing if you're not married to your current lab's research)
What if I told you you already could and this is just a dream you can't wake up from?
And yet it's also wise to deafen, be silent before the mysterious still there. I's not like 'we've got it all figured out'. What's nice with science, we keep on finding more.

Misusing big terms is a krime soon to be banned.
In the new system, all term/name/compliment (and unsuitable item) misuse is to be banned -- humans cannot misuse words that are or start with/include/end in a fruit/food/flower related word or a compliment/number/light related term or a season/color/nature related term or a big/astral/gemstone term or names of months/days of week etc or any other terms that reflect that which is above/of power/absolute/supreme/precious etc in their name...

I missed seeing Nightwish when they came to the US to promote this album...still kicking myself for it as everything about it is amazing.
Truly as many others have noted, this should be official video, it was *masterful* in every way and synergizes completely rather than distracts, as though the music and visuals echo one another

Shows more of the creator and His creation and just how too complex things are to have just "happened" without a designer behind all this. Nothing plus nothing is still nothing, but Nothing plus a Creator equals everything.

exactly. if the designer existed all the time, then there is no need for the designer - because if an complex being like the designer could've existed all the time, it also would be possible for the universe to just simply exist all the time.
and if the creator came from nothing, then surely something like the universe would have an equally possibility to just come from nothing. to be honest, we SHOULD assume that the universe came from nothing in this case - because we KNOW that the universe atleast exists, we can prove this. we cannot prove any form of creator, nor his cause.
The Designer is not complex. The substance of the Designer is absolutely simple so your criticism of a "complex" Designer is a non-starter objection. Especially in the face of Classic Theism and Western religion. The Universe is a thing that changes and even if it had no formal beginning & is eternal in the past it would still require an unchanged changer to keep it in existence and be it's first cause in an essential causal chain. All the classic cosmological arguments assume an eternal universe. From nothing, nothing comes so it is metaphysically impossible for anything to come from nothing since there isn't anything to actualize anything with a potency. We can prove the existence of God via philosophical proof. God is not a scientific question but a philosophical one.
