I really like the space physics in this game, it truly feels like you're in space with how light the aircraft handles and it has the 6 degrees of freedom but at the same time you can still get on the enemies six and it feels like a classical dogfight..
@@WolfeSaber9933 It would make more sense in the real world instead of using RCS to just use thrust vectoring from the main engines. Real world rockets already use this to control there stages of powered flight.
@@cancelanime1507 Thrust vectoring the main propulsion system does offer options in space flight, however they cannot give the control we get in game. You can't move like a helicopter with an engine that can only move you in one vector. The RCS can do many vectors, but wouldn't be powerful enough for an orbital change. The rocket example is for change of orbital, not movement like another the ISS.
@@WolfeSaber9933 The amount of torque you would get from using the vectored thrust of the main engines can't be replicated with RCS thrusters unless there comically big and powerful like what you have in Star Citizen which is very unrealistic. It would still make sense to have RCS as a backup and to preform those "helicopter maneuvers" but I can't see it being used as the main control system for the classical three axis of flight.
@@cancelanime1507 By conventional means, probably. There's also gyroscopes that can help with the spinning, and new RCS thrusters in development that can allow for what I'm thinking. After all, we don't use giant rockets on our space stations to help keep their orbits, one's that are proportional to the size of engines on the Jackals and Skelters to the size of said space stations.

I would like to view this as a win because earlier in the game when the Olympus Mons battered SATO’s fleet yes it kind of put them on the backfoot for a little bit but with with SATO jacking the Olympus Mons, using it to batter SetDef’s fleet and the destruction of their shipyard was a much harder blow so the way I see it it’s a “If you hurt us, we’ll hurt you more” type of scenario plus most of their command structure was killed so this was huge strategic victory for SATO.
My favorite missions were the side missions not only becouse of the ship upgrades suit upgrades and other things but blowing set ships or killing there commanders is so fucking cool
Mostly artistic license but fire in space would happen for a short time as the gases on the ships are burning as they escape. You do know there is oxygen and other gases on the ship don't you. This has been tested in the real world in a vacuum to a degree.

Without the main engines and just using RCS, we can have space fighter combat like in the game, plus independent 0.50 cal turrets for defense.

Consider that Black Ops 3 was outright confusing and this title was somewhat decent in comparison. So they did owe us a little something.
