Great job! I dont have a joist in right location to hit, but you gave me an idea, I'll get a metal bracket similar to what hangs the lights or make 2 from wood and screw those to joists. I was very surprised you wrote measurement in inches/fractions rather than metric. I'm in USA, an engineer & the SAE mile/yard/foot/inches/fractions drives me huts!!! Each item based on a different and odd ball number. Good video, great technique using blue tape to map that out

А где вы взяли питание? Я правильно понял что от лайтспота? То есть вытяжка будет работать только тогда когда горит свет?
Нет не от лампы. Вот на 5:28 видно там вдали между балками есть провода. Так вот один из них постоянно под напряжением. От него я и отвёл провод на вытяжку. Работу с проводкой можно увидеть во второй части установки.

@@FixitAll подскажите пожалуйста, у меня вытяжка над айлендом, первый этаж, доступа на чердак нету (над кухней комната). Между балок никаких проводов под постоянным напряжением нету, есть только провода на лайтспоты, можно подключиться к ним? Или второй вариант, можно ли подключиться к розетке второго этажа?
@@Kirill_ave Обычно и берут от розеток. От лампы тоже можно, но будет работать только если включить лампу.

What was the tool you used to cut the hole in the drywall with?
I used circle cater to cut sheetrock just 1/8" deep.
Then i used regular sheetrock hand saw inside the plastic bag.

What solid structure will you attach it to?
One side attached to the ceiling joist. at 7:30 you can see 3 screws in blue tape line , joist visible thru the hole.
