@@CumbrianWildfowler yes great to get out with the sxs. Managed to get hold of some Tungsten Matrix 36gm 3s so looking forward to using them on some pinks next month 🤞
@@jasonsetterfield-by4qu it’s a kind loan by a friend. I meant to include that in the film. Im getting a new gun coming this week. New gun but with a nod to the past! Coming soon…
Nice video, those days that you miss alot are up to a few things. 1. Any duck coming at you, let it keep coming. You shot at a few like that but way too early, look at the shot cam. 2. Rushing your shots and lifting your head at the last moment. I'm pretty sure all waterfowlers know this, I'm 53 and still repeat these errors more than regularly. Any way, love your channel
Needs to wait for the birds to get closer and let them land in the dekes. If they’re flying by, that’s the best position for the pellets to penetrate underneath the feathers instead of in front of them. Wear face mask and cap. Lol.
@@coopernickerson7470 the birds weren’t decoying well today. I prefer faint paint to veils masks etc. they decor better on the next film. Thanks for the tips!
@@markreid9570 it’s an old Gunmark Kestrel on loan. It’s ok but throws horrible streaky patterns. But feels nice. A generously lent stopgap while I wait for the new secret weapons to arrive…

Another great video. I assume not subsonic load this time?
hmm, I had to think? That was steel 3's and what was left of the Bismuth subs. I think Bismuth got them both. Thanks for the feedback.
Great video. We’ve all been there. Wild duck never easy to hit.
Thanks Richard, I'm loving the side by side. Just feels more natural. More good flights coming up...

At 54, I know what you mean all too well. Even being born into wildfowling and 'educating' others, I still make school boy errors. It's the exitement!
