If you watched the behind the scenes for this last episode you’ll see how deep the male lead actor emotionally invested to make this scene realistic that he couldn’t get out of character even after the director called CUT Peng Xiao REN and the crew members have to comfort him and helped him get out of character of Li Lychen so he could stop crying…great acting

Agree-she made a huge mistake when she took him to her grandfather’s tent where it’s sacred. The prince studied and listened to every movement of the horse steps, the ground, the dried flowers, the breeze surrounding the grandfather’s tent, but she insisted to blind fold him and led him there.
XiaoFeng's love for Li Chenyin/Gu Xiaowu is insane. I can definitely see the definition of 'the heart wants what it wants' no matter what. If only Xiaowu made his choices a bit differently, this tragedy would not have happened. But I'm glad they ended up happily together in modern world. It's been like two years already since this drama came out yet I still can't get over this. Surely one of my favorite dramas of all-time .

I've watched this tragic drama love story last year. It's painful. Full of sacrifices, but eventually it's outstanding. Congrats to the cast and crew most especially to Feng xioran and Cheng xingxu. Great actors and hoping they will have another great drama.

I understand the ending now. Xiaofeng killed herself to punish Cheng Yin. Even at the very end she doesn't want to hurt him. She said that the fox couldn't wait any longer... The thing she means by that is that maybe in the next life they will be together but chengyin couldn't wait any longer..she wants her to come back. She don't want anything to do with Cheng Yin so she killed herself but maybe just maybe in the future she would choose to stay that's what she means but that is unlikely(maybe If he chooses differently.).
I’ve heard that after the scene of Xiao Feng’s death, Chen Xing Xu (Li Chengying) was so emotionally touched that he couldn’t move for a moment and Peng Xiao Ran (Xiao Feng) had to confort him 😭 This scene is already hard enough for us viewers, I can’t imagine how it felt for him

This is not your normal love story where they fight villians then one gets kill and die. Her love for her family is so strong. Yet her love for him is even stronger which she can not overcome. So sad that her decision was to end herself only for the states to have peace. Her sacrifice makes her a super heroin.
It’s out of love and revenge that her last wish is for him to “live well”. Meaning he can’t die with her and have to live the rest of his life without his love. That’s a long torture in itself.

Well the show kind of hinted that the most valued asset of the kingdom was the ninth princess. Not only was she pretty but she carried the blood of two nations. But yea I love the FL in this one. She was kind and treated almost everyone as an equal regardless of status. She even jumped into the water to save a kid even though she didn't know how to swim. She covered a little girl left alone from a fire.
This is the most heartbreaking episode I watched 😭😭😭 I thought they will have happy even after. I’m so disappointed I thought there’s a twist at the end.😭😭😭

When I first watch the ending .. i end up crying...a lot like a ocean.. every time i remember the scene s i cry. At fisrt I don't like the outcome.. but as i remember the whole story i realize that it is a good ending.. and it was a good solution for a tragic love.or i mean toxic ..they love each other but it was way too complicated.

I don't how to define it, I'm not a person who cries easily for melodramas like this.. but, this.. That guy is a traitor.. He loved her, but in front of others he uplifted and loved his concubine more than the princess for most of the episodes. After sometime he changed and betrayed his concubine telling he was faking love on her and there is only one person in his heart that is his princess. yk I cursed him till the end of this drama. And my gurll....she lost everything her parents, her love, best friend, memory,teacher and also her beautiful life as an adult. God gave her the most disturbing and sad life. Its better to rot and die than to live a life like this with an evil like him. Lucifer and Grim reaper's are much better than him..........

This is not your normal love story where they fight villians then one gets kill and die. Her love for her family is so strong. Yet her love for him is even stronger which she can not overcome. So sad that her decision was to end herself only for the states to have peace. Her sacrifice makes her a super heroin.

This drama until now breaks my heart! The ending is so sad but such a good and well-made drama.
It’s out of love and revenge that her last wish is for him to “live well”. Meaning he can’t die with her and have to live the rest of his life without his love. That’s a long torture in itself.
Honestly I used to hate china but after watching their dramas especially historical, I ended up loving their culture. I adore the richness of their culture. China is indeed the home of the best historical dramas.

Well the show kind of hinted that the most valued asset of the kingdom was the ninth princess. Not only was she pretty but she carried the blood of two nations. But yea I love the FL in this one. She was kind and treated almost everyone as an equal regardless of status. She even jumped into the water to save a kid even though she didn't know how to swim. She covered a little girl left alone from a fire.

Scarlet heart is one of the story that you'll only read or watch once🥀, just like this drama, I'll only watch it once, and let it burried deep within my heart.
The plots are similar. The main lead chooses power over love then lives in misery missing the girl who left him for what he did.
For me scarlet heard touch my heart. I still fell the pain whenever i think of it.

When I first watch the ending .. i end up crying...a lot like a ocean.. every time i remember the scene s i cry. At fisrt I don't like the outcome.. but as i remember the whole story i realize that it is a good ending.. and it was a good solution for a tragic love.or i mean toxic ..they love each other but it was way too complicated.

This is one of those underated series ... It has a good plot. .yes it is long but if you invest the time to watch you will appreciate it. This is one of my favorite drama as well as the saddest ending but it was a good ending.👍❤️

I don't how to define it, I'm not a person who cries easily for melodramas like this.. but, this.. That guy is a traitor.. He loved her, but in front of others he uplifted and loved his concubine more than the princess for most of the episodes. After sometime he changed and betrayed his concubine telling he was faking love on her and there is only one person in his heart that is his princess. yk I cursed him till the end of this drama. And my gurll....she lost everything her parents, her love, best friend, memory,teacher and also her beautiful life as an adult. God gave her the most disturbing and sad life. Its better to rot and die than to live a life like this with an evil like him. Lucifer and Grim reaper's are much better than him..........
