    I am so afraid of the darks..but you need them to showcase the Light. Life lesson in art ♥️

    I was so excited when this video came up in my RUclips feed! I found this painting on google under impressionistic barns earlier this year. I fell in love with the colors and the way it was so beautifully blended. I used it as a reference to paint it in acrylics! NOW I know how you blended it so well. Painting in acrylics is hard for me but I wanted a challenge. I think it turned out beautiful ❤ I have now purchased pastels and have been enjoying the new medium. I guess all my searching has brought me all the way back to you! Thank you for sharing!

    Loved this video! I am a watercolor artist but have dabbled in pastels occasionally. Will try the alcohol effect! Beautiful painting!

    Amazing. You have a gentle, light touch with the pastel initially for the underpainting, don't you? Your work is incredible!

    Hi Bethany, love your work and instruction. I’ve had difficulty finding a downloadable Refernce photo for the subject you are teaching . Would you mind pointing me to the source of your reference images . Thanks so much and I’m happy to be a Patreon subscriber.

    I tried the alcohol washing, but wow did the paper warp and wave. I used very little too- can't remeber what paper, but it wasn't very thick, not like card stock- any ideas how to avoid wrinkling?

    • @BethanyFields
      @BethanyFields  10 месяцев назад +1

      You need to use the correct paper to avoid the warping. I used Uart Sanded papers in this piece!
