Great video, my 94 ls has wetness in the carpet under my drivers floormat (not on top of the floormat for some reason?) which i hope isn't from the recent windshield replacement I got
This is exactly what I’m dealing with on my 99 integra. Water is making its way to the passenger footwell. On mine the rust around the exterior of the windshield is bad at the top corners. I took pretty much all my interior out so it doesn’t get destroyed. I also noticed on mine after taking the roof rail trims out there was some cracks that also were at the rear where my hatch seals to the car near the hinges. My car is currently sitting at body shop now to have those things repaired along with a new windshield. but due to the weather they haven’t been able to get it done for a couple moths now🙄
Yeah, I'm concerned that once that windshield is removed, body rust may be found and need repair. But, stalling for now until I have the time and money.
It's common for old Integras to leak from the cowl at the bottom of the windshield where there's a fresh air vent. It's on the far side of the passenger side. This videos shows it: ruclips.net/video/puPhoeMkniE/видео.html
I still need to do the temporary repair. I may do a video on that as well? But ultimately, I will have to take it to someone specializing in windshields to have the seal/gasket replaced.
@Thingsto Consider yea let us know how that goes I don't have an Integra, but I do have two 98 Hondas. One of which is a civic that I'm having trouble finding a leak down the driver side foot well kinda by where the harness goes through the firewall but it's not the harness grommet or the sunroof drain. It only leaks when I put water down the wiper cowl of the driver side.
Hey I've got a 95 integra gsr, just watched your video because I have what *looks* like a leak in the same area as you do in the video. After hours of tracking it down, I found a small hairline crack where the weatherstripping meets on the top of the roof/windshield. I wonder if it might be happening on other integras as well? Perhaps a weak spot? Anyways, hope this helps. Thanks for the video!
