I worked at Gigi's Cafe in Ellicott City Maryland. I'm from Maryland and lived there most of my life. After investigations this was not a thousand year flood or a 100-year flood this was a developer that wastewater all of the streets in a new neighborhood he built into a little teeny tiny Creek that ran down next to that street. Much larger rainstorms had happened in that area then the accumulation of this one. The new development community dumped all the water and ruined historical Ellicott City and the community developer was sued for it.

I feel sorry for animals especially pets cause they have no way of escape.
