Her Cantonese is waaaay better than most Chinese people, what the heck?? And her English doesn't have a strong Chinese accent like one person suggested. I know there's going to be a lot of haters out there. But she introduced herself as a Honk Kong native, so... not surprising.
Bryan Li nothing special. I grew up in the US and i can heard her accent big time. Her chinese is at best 70%. My english sound no different from typical texas accent.
@@hvuu1628 I'm sorry, but I highly doubt your English sounds like a Texan, because your grammar already tells me it's not, no offense. My older sister (among others I know) think that their English is indistinguishable, but in fact is VERY revealing just in the usage of grammar. And sure Sharon is not perfect, but my statement was that it was better than *most Chinese*, which I mean to include those of a different dialect, born outside of the Chinese influenced areas, etc. (To clarify)
That's not always the case. From my experience people there treat me better when I use English. I have some friends from the mainland who had a similar experience.
@MingTheMerciful Everyone is a lot of people... are you sure? Last time when i was in Hong Kong for a month, which was the day before yesterday. It certainly didn't feel like that.
Sharon is a pastor now? Gd on her. I ain't christian and I usually don't care for any institutionalised religions but Sharon seems like a real down to earth human being without the irritating fake and oiliness of most evangelists.
Why are all these videos here of WHITE PEOPLE speaking CHINESE? As if it's something incredible. Would you put up videos showing Chinese Who Can Speak - and Sing!!! In English!!!! Or: South African Speaks Russian!!! Cantonese is just a language. Anyone can learn it.
great sound and Sharon you did a wonderful job performing it. right on!!!! God Bless

Her parents were missionaries when she was a toddler, so she knows the language like a native.

She is related to Pastor Dennis Balcome right? :)

I wonder how well she speak english @_@ would it be hongkong accent ? ;D
She speaks cantonese perfectly just wondering if she can speaks english?
Deby Ferguson yes i would bet since she is an american as she stated. And btw her canto is a barely passing grade.
She could if she speaks English to her American parents at home.
I'm from the Netherlands and I can Chinese.
Is that weird?
I'll bet she has a legitimate Chinese accent when she speaks English.
How does a woman become a pastor?
She's born in HK, no wonder she has no accent. Cool!
she's trying to spread christianity to the audience
That's cool. But then she's evangelizing, trying to spread bs religion.
I don't believe is her voice singing !! There are alot of frauda from the Internet -- there can be someone else near by singing for her
