Gautier (Igorrr, the guy with the analog synths) is a huge Cannibal Corpse fan and finally collaborating with George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher is a dream come true for him.
Also he owns the studio and creates all the sounds in their songs- never uses samples.

Just FYI Igorrr is actually the guy behind all those analog doohickies. Before Igorrr became a band, he was a DJ that mostly used all that gear to make his music.(which was even crazier than it is today IMO) Nowadays he's more of a maestro composing and adding stuff on top, but before he was a one man band with 2 singers by his side. Check out the song Tendon if you want to see what I mean.

you are not wrong. i get the dirt-aesthetic traditional midtempo has, i get that. like the black metal cat-anus guitars, it is a .. "thing". some genres have a "thing". that just how life be.
