8:05 Kiryu unlocks a raw early version of the Dragon of Dojima style.
Kiryu has killed multiple people. It's a mistranslation. What he says is that he never kills for the fun, never kills anyone who has given up or anyone who isn't a danger to his life or the lifes of those he cares about.
Yeah he only kills in self defense. Still funny tho

True, but that's not as funny as saying "Kazuma Kiryu has never killed a man" immediately after seeing him shoot literally dozens of guys in the face during a highway chase sequence that culminates with him shooting a helicopter out of the air before it explodes.

I legit don't get how learning the hand signs is so difficult. You'll have them down after maybe an hour, probably less. Also no the hostes club is the best side quest. It's such a good side quest that they brought it back in Kiwami 2.

Let me put it this way. I'm legally blind and I got it down in an hour from how they move their arms.
I looked up a guide exactly _once_ and remember them with ease. This coming from a guy with a really dodgy memory, if _I_ can do it, literally anyone else can as well.
Yakuza 0 is such a masterpiece especially when you play yakuza kiwami 2 at majima chapter, the feel hits you so hard

I absolutely loved the way yakuza 0 played out with its story and how just like Max0r said, I love how it can go from serious to downright goofy in minutes
I commented it in the actual video as well, but you know Max0r is invested in a game, when he doesn't rename protagonist as John Yakuza.

Kiryu gets dragon of dojima.... which is bad. The passive upgrades are worth it though
The amount of hours I spent 100 percenting Yakuza 0 was worth it but also very frustrating. There has not been another game out there that has gotten me to learn and play 25 hours of mahjong and actually enjoy it. I actually was a pretty big fan of the cabaret sidequest, getting all the diamond tier girls to 3 double circles and completely destroying my opposition!

Shakedown can be farmed so easy, it's a joke.
1: Aquire heat drinks
2: Aquire baseball bat
3: Heat, beat and zip the drink
4: Repeat until deceased
5: Richer than Musa Masa
Just use zap gun/mad dog counter/ dragon of dojima twist counter for even easier farming
When you reuse the same heat action over and over it does less damage each time. Just use the zap/slime gun

Any yakuza 0 playthrough recommendation? I can't play it since I don't have a pc but i still want to experience it

I would recommend a somewhat small gaming youtuber named JFJ and his mascot is a sock (yes an actual shoe sock). I don't have a gaming pc too so I experienced the entire game from his perspective and I really enjoyed it. He also went into it completely blind with almost no idea wth Yakuza is so you don't have to worry about spoilers. In his main channel he uploads short edited clips of his playthroughs of games so if you want to watch the whole thing just searching "JFJ Yakuza 0 stream" should do the trick.

They probably weren't allowed to sell it in China unless they made the Chinese guy more handsome (and put him on the cover of the game).

Lord is it hard to slog through Yakuza 7... I wanna play it, cause I like the story and everything so far but the combat is so boring to me. Hopefully they can learn how to improve the turn based system in the next yakuza.
@@Wayra_ I think the turn base in lad is really enjoyable except when you push enemy too far and your party have to run all the way to hit them EVERY TURN

Kiryu unlocks dragon style. It's honestly a shittier brawler in 0. Mad dog style on the other hand allows you to cheese bosses even better than slugger because it gives you an unbreakable dagger and a moveset centered around spamming unblockable strikes (so Majima wins again as the more interesting character).
Dragon style finishing holds are op what you talking about
@@Wayra_ It does like 1/5 of brawler damage without you upgrading limit breaker and pouring shitloads of money into it. It is not as broken as beast and it doesn't let you double evade like rush and only gets super fast on 3rd heat bar. Dragon might be good in kiwami, but in 0 it's pretty bad. I still use it cause I wasted a shitload of time standing in one place waiting to collect money from the buisiness to get it and its' music is the best.
@@delivererofdarknessshoguno1133 I might be biased from the music but it's my favorite style in 0. I did a ng+ on legend with it exclusively
@@Wayra_ You can upgrade it forever so it can be nice on ng+ but it is very expensive to make it good

(Also, for the unlockable style on Kiryu and Majima, you can basicaly level everything 99 times, making them insanely broken. You can basicaly 1 hit ko Mr.Shakedowns, it's that ridiculous)
I loved Yakuza from the first minute. Zero felt surprisingly overrated, it is good, but seeing as it did not really bring anything new to the table, I was surprised. But I guess it brought a bunch of people their first Yakuza experience, so I'm fine with that.
yeah I think people's first yakuza is their favorite usually. I love Kiwami, 3, and 5 the most but zero had really good story and heat actions.
