knew it'd be this way, they have their tech business too spread out to put focus on their sim stuff, and I'm sure besides the covid boom their numbers weren't good enough to sustain dev for more peripherals. Thing being $1000 with no extra wheels in sight who coulda guessed! @@seallz

I've also heard recently that they are coming soon. I just would not have thought that they would have taken this long. I expected them to wait, but no more than a year. I've Got a Feeling there's a reason why they've held out so long, and now I'm kind of wondering if it has something to do with what's going on with fanatec
@@heinous70 nah it's just what logitech does. They might eventually but they just made it modular incase it does well basically. My opinion is they have no plans to release further rims.

Stupid price for me $2,200.00 for around $1200 I could get a MOZA Racing R5 Bundle with clutch add-on plus a shifter plus the pedal upgrades can't see this selling too well for the price they are asking.

@@atimo4959 it's not, literally no one cares about it, some people bought it when it came out hyped and while the hardware itself is really good, there's nothing to buy for this thing on the market aside of what it comes with, no high end shifter, handbrakes, or different rims

If you're not dead set on buying Logitech id highly recommend looking into ANY other brand. There is so much more available for a lot less. Bases that will take any wheel from 3rd parties, bundles that let you choose from different wheels, etc., and all manner of torque strengths from light to wrist breaking. You would limit yourself to basically no options at this point by going with Logitech. Just don't want people in the community to go into a big purchase not knowing all the options.

As always info like this never goes out when I initially research and decide to purchase shit. Fanatec is the same way buy their GT playstation wheelbase and buy an Xbox wheel.

@GeekStreet i actually watched your full review... would be good to do a follow up review and perhaps this time focus on clear negatives and clear positives and compare it or provide some DIY kit alternatives from fanatec and thrustmaster around the same price point **?$1.500 USD? for the whole kit.
Comparing: Direct drive base, wheel and loaded cell pedals would be a good comparison. Unfortunately the Logitech Pro "cheats" by only having the BRAKE pedal load cell... the other 2 are spring... as far as i know. The PRO does "win" on trueforce feature which nobody else has but then you've got the H.A.R.T system thrustmaster uses.
So as you can see such a video would be very much in demand and useful for entry level enthusiasts. Please do this unless this logitech was a sponsored free wheel and you can't do that lol 😉 😜 😆

Back in the day I owned a Fanatec CSR Elite. It worked with Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Why can't we just get something similar in today's day and age?
What about the PC version?
You can choose from PS/PC, Xbox/PC and PC only when purchasing. I'm assuming the PC only version is well... PC only. And the other two are explained in the video, obviously.
Thing has so much detail even more then other DD wheels guys. Its absolutely insane. Like legit crazy af. Yes even nore then fanatec and the weight feel is so good. Also something special about logitech is they always feel more controlled when racing compared to others and idk why. Its a massive plus and im leaning towards saying purely due to fun and feel of racing it msy just be worth the 1k haha.
Also i mean its 11nm.

Btw lose the gloves .I was used to wearing them because of alcantara wheels in the past but ditched them a while ago on my g pro with real leather and its so much more comfortable

This is kinda stupid, couldn't they just built them from the factory that way and so it would be compatible with everything out of the box. I'm on PC so in my case it doesn't make a difference but still it's dumb.

I can't reccomend PXN after my personal experience with the V9 and just looking at their previous wheels. They are very cheaply made no matter the model and the V12 has lots of flex and material issues (as seen in OC Racing's Review.) They're not a bad company and it's great they're trying to expand but I think it's too early to tell if PXN is actually a good option just yet.

@@brechtxt8096the thing is the r5 is plenty powerful for 95% of users. I have one and I also thought this Nm talk was important and that more is better and more is more bla bla. But I am not running mine above 50% in game because it's just too much for my liking. It is an incredible bundle the r5, everything great quality and feels premium.
fanatec DD is what I went with and got the 8nm booster. I don't see them bringing any extra rims for these ever and thats a huge no at that price range.@@brechtxt8096
Logitech G Pro has much better force feedback then Moza. Some say its as good as Simucube, I dont know if I would go that far but it is good.

Can I have one please 🥹 I’m trying to get into sim racing. I bought 2 different Logitech g29 off Facebook market and got scammed twice. First one doesn’t even turn on. 2nd one force feed back just doesn’t work. Shakes my whole table and is very unstable. All I ever wanted was to sim race but I feel at lost since I got scammed out of 2 wheels now :/ if you have extras laying around. That would be awesome. Thanks
