I think it was that loud mouthed Bill Williamson. He did say he asked everyone he could until someone pointed him there. So I believe the Pinkerton's followed Bill. He was the last to arrive after all.
That and the Pinkertons picked up Micah after they got back from Guarma
That makes a ton of sense and Bill is not exactly someone who blends in anyhow.
Not to mention that he's not exactly quiet
It was actually Bill Williamson indirectly. Listen to when he said that he had to ask around on how to find the hideout. Maybe the Pinkertons heard him or heard someone he talked to give him the directions.
Because they picked up Micah at some point and he ratted the gang out. Video over so go, spend your time on something else.

I've find the letter before The Pinkertons, and manage to escape without they see. For me it's Bill's fault..

They found the camp so quick because of Bill Williamson. He said he asked all over and finally someone told him where they were. You are met to find the letter before they find it so it wasn't Sadie. Plus,not standing up for him at all but, Micah was already in the homestead before Dutch got there so it wasn't Micah. It was Bill.
I think it was bill Williamson.When he showed up he seemed mad Maybe he accidentally asked someone He shouldn't have .Or threw a fit in the middle of the public .And the pinkertons followed him .After all he was the last one to show up.
It's not like it was that hard to find. Even Bill found it quickly without much trouble. It seems pretty obvious the Pinkertons knew where it was well before the gang returns and were probably watching it. That would explain how they picked Micah up so easily, and it would make sense they would wait for the ambush until they managed to turn a rat in the gang. This really isn't a mystery.

I'm not defending Micah but from what I have seen already the Pinkertons already knew the gang will be in lakay but they didn't know where is the exact spot to bust, what I really think exposed the gang exact location is actually Bill Williamson he did even say (I asked everyone about you) which is so obvious that the Pinkertons tracked him right to the spot it would really make since after all the Pinkertons are detectives and it will be so easy to track someone who's just asking people around like a lunatic ;)

Bruh bill walks in and admits that he was the one that got the gang found out he literally says he asked everyone he saw the Pinkertons probably followed him there and that’s how they were found out about
Micah or Sadie's letter maybe but you can find the letter before the Pinkertons in which case they will not see it. Also considering they show up right after Bill he could've unwittingly led them there after asking all over about the location

And I couldve swore karen wrote the letter, cause i found letter before pinkertons

That's would leave be wondering how the Pinkerton's were able to find Lakay and the gang so quickly even if Arthur got to the letter first. I probably think they had other clues.
Just expect a casino dlc in about 2 hours or so....
The Pinkertons find them in chapter 2 when Arthur and Jack were fishing and even can came to the camp to offer the gang freedom for Dutch. It was Micah from the beginning because we saved him from Strawberry jail but he never came to the camp til they moved to Rhodes.
R Sevin yea, but they change camps multiple times during the chapters, making the pinkertons unable to deduce the location of the camp with the location of the previous camp
@@adambadr15 The Pinkertons find them in every location except for Clemens Points in Rhodes. The reason they left Rhodes because they got involved with the Greys and the Braithwaite family feud also Jack was kidnapped. The Pinkertons even found their hideout in Shady Belle after the failed bank robbery attempt.

It was Bill, Dutch and Micah. Depends if they found Dutch decided to follow him then saw Bill then they probably thought hey heading same place and well Micah we all know what happened there two on accident one on purpose

The Pinkertons tracked Micah's facebook account for clues on the gang's whereabouts

It’s because there was a note at shady belle, bill led them back and Micah ratted them out
(Edit) and Micah ha most likely snitching since chapter 2 because they already knew about the train robbery and the bank robbery in saint denis when they occurred

Hey Boss love your videos. I am in chapter 5 and I love this game. It is the best novel I ever read in a video game. I'm a 52 yr old lady and I have not been this emotional about a man since I met my husband. Lol. When Arthur looks at the rocks and mountains through his binoculars he sees his thoughts carved in rock. On one of the mountains north west of Strawberry as Arthur is facing southwest looking in the binocs he sees a VERY sinister Dutch face with puppeteer strings of glinting gold strapped to Arthur and I just broke out sobbing. Take a look at Horseshoe Overlook through Arthur's binoculars his son is playing with a pony they look so happy. Sob sob Brilliant Rockstar! Bravo.

Because it's a videogame, the Pinkertons finding them was an essential plot device and as such the script was written that way.

Dude when I was doing this mission and got to shady bell I searched all the first floor before I went to the second floor, and I found the letter Sadie had written for Arthur and Arthur puts it away in his satchel so there is no way the Pinkertons could've come to lakay. I think that's something rockstar missed.
In chapter 2, the Pinkertons came to Arthur and Jack when they was fishing and came face to face with the gang at the camp which force them to move to Rhodes. It obvious Micah was the rat from the beginning when we save him from jail.

I found the letter before the Pinkertons and I killed all of them... so how could that leak their hideout?? Also all characters that came from Guarma look pretty bad. With beards, dirty and kinda thirsty. But Micah looks as fresh as always... so he may have made himself „pretty“ for or at the meeting with the Pinkertons
Well, I played this and I had him put the letter away before the Pinkertons showed up. They still found the camp.
The only way they get the letter is if you don't grab it as soon as you walk in, then they never see it
UM, Bill flat out says he talked to everyone he knew, they followed Bill to the camp.
If rockstar wanted to they could have had a dlc as Sadie during the time Arthur and Dutch were in Guarma
Agent Milton was a very much intelligent man who did his job well.
Lakay was a place where the cops didn't come same as Beaver Hollow

i think bill when asking around about the group was not cautious about it. I think that is how the pinkertons found the camp. they just followed bill. probably knew from the letter that they were in the area so they had thier troops and guns gathered near by arleady. bill just led them strieght to the camp.

I think it was bill asking around that did it. No bill didnt tell anyone exactly and thats why Milton didnt mention him but if he managed to find out by asking then someone could of told the pinkertons when they realized bill was back n the gang prob was to if he was asking where they were.

Yeah, but this is all predicated on the assumption that the player doesn't take the note and kill the Pinkerton Scouts which, even if they found the note, would render this moot.

Duh it's Micah Bell running that mouth he's been running his mouth most likely since even before chapter 1 I'll give you an great example of this in chapter 3 when you have to meet Micah Bill and Sean and when sean gets shot in the head they could have killed any of you but I think it's just really odd that they chose to not shoot Micah they probably let Micah live because he's running his mouth to both the Braithwaites and the Greys and the same in Chapter 2 when Leviticus Cornwall finds y'all and in chapter 4 when the bank job gets ruined and how the pinkertons were able to easily captured Hosea why you think that is Michael Bell running his mouth so much even though Milton says that Micah had been working with them after guarma I just don't believe that I believe he's been working with him since like even before the Blackwater Ferry job

At shady belle when Arthur goes outside to help sadie Adler.. one of those Odriscols say " micah told us " sounded like it to me plus micah wasn't there at all at camp when the shoot out happened and I'm sure micah bell took Kieran Duffy back to colm... micah was playing it from both sides tipped off the Pinkertons and colms crew since chapter 1 micah bells the rat reason why dutch shoots micah at the ending..

Thought about the Pinkertons finding Sadie's note, and that's what led them there. Thought about maybe it was Bill who inadvertently led them there, seeing as he shows up seconds before Milton does, and he asked all over where to find them.
Or it could've been Micah who led them there.
I thought that all through when I played the game the first time around.

I think Micah is more slippery than Milton
It was Bill asking around all over trying to find everyone. Arthur can pick up the letter before the Pinkertons find it. If Bill had kept his trap shut, or pretended to be a bounty hunter or something, then he may have been able to find everyone without the Pinkertons following his dumb ass. I'm sure Micah helped them find the gang. There's no doubt in my mind about that. But Bill was the big player in them being caught with their pants down.
But, how would they have known, if u already picked up the letter?
I found that letter before the Pinkertons caught hold of it and Arthur took it and kept it in his satchel. According to me it's Bill
1. Sadie is the most tokenized character in the game obviously.
2. Yeah I don't think it was Micah why would Micah endanger himself like that and allow himself to be killed like that. I think they picked him up after this situation. Makes no sense as to why he would endanger himself like that
Yeah but even if they did find the letter you (Arthur) kill them before they leave the house preventing their knowledge of the letter getting out.
Because they had been there since before chapter 5. They moved around after the bank mission goes south and your on the boat.

My question is; why doesn't the gang kill the Pinkertons when they find the camp.
I actually found the letter immediately I did not climb up stairs, so I did not see this cut scene.
