Arteta does not have an issue bringing in big players. He has an issue bringing in players bigger than the core of his team. So if they are going to be so big that they are going to think they don't have to listen to the leaders.. then it's a no.. unless their personality matched what's there already
For those from africa there is a comic known as Supa strikers and it has the the series on youtube. The coach of supa strikas works like Arteta coming up with ideas such as the use of speakers to help the players understand him and combat their opponents.
I don’t agree with the use of the word “copy” in terms of managers. I prefer the word “agree”. Mikel agrees with Pep’s style of structural possession play.
Great work. Just want to clarify that the football community always see the word arrogance and confidence interchangeably. Arteta knows he's excellent at his job and works hard to be skillful - confiedent. He is humble to learn and doestn talk down to others who dont have his skill - not arrogant. Hes a confident, hardworking, humble guy.
This is great insight and agree with most points. My only pushback on Arteta can’t manage big personalities is his work with Trossard. Leo is known to be a little bit challenging and there were even a few articles written about how he and Arteta had to work on things in the beginning but seems to have done well with him. However I do agree Arteta hasn’t managed that bona fide superstar personality. That is his next evolution. Learn how to press the right buttons to get that type of player to perform
I don't think you know what you are talking about. It's crystal clear auba was a p taker. It's not big personality that's the problem here It's discipline. Even Madrid demand discipline to the highest standard so let's not act as if every world class player has a discipline issue
@@MrFudge2016agree strongly with you. Disagree strongly with pod duo. Havertz / Oeddegaard / Saka / Saliba /Rice are all top class but also very different in personality.
The idea of using RN24 as an overlapping RB... is that maybe why Mikel might be favouring Josh Nichols as much as he seems to? A huge risk because he's young but this opened my mind to that possibility.
Havertz, Martinelli, Saka, Rice, Kiwior, Tomiyasu, Tierney, Ramsdale are so overrated. Odegaard, Partey, White and Gabriel are also slightly overrated. Jesus, Trossard, Jorginho, Merino, Zinchenko, Calafiori, Saliba, Timber and Raya are world class.
Pythag! One of the best in the game and probably the least biased neutral going. Hope for many more with him!

Arteta works with clubs principle.... arrogance will never thrive where humility is demanded. 😊

Arteta broke the squad down to rebuild the team ethos. He rates character along with potential & strength. This is why Ozil & Auba had to go...
Arteta's not afraid to upgrade players as he showed Raya coming in.
Phythag is the goat of football analysis I really enjoyed that and George you were fantastic as well
Much appreciated :)
Great episode!
Highly informative ❤
Good intelligent chat.
Loving the multiverse 🥹
Nice show George
Thank you!
So basically you're saying he'll raise the foggin standards
We trapped in Kay haward parches if we don't we go with oshiman
PYTHAGORAAAAASS
saka will become that guy
Nothing better if he doesn't sign a striker and winger very underwhelming window
he doesn't need a striker this window, but a winger yes
Ok, genius!
Arteta might be influenced by Wenger when it comes in the way he recruit especially the era in which wenger brought him in.
Family gunner 💯❤😂
Oh i know his channel
TDK who? Well done.
Thank you :)

Southgate?! Mega cringe 😬
Comment to first.
The question is, when will we become the best IN POSSESSION team?
Trossard Jesus Coman
Eze Merino Jorginho
Zinchenko Calafiori Saliba Timber
Raya
???????????
@@JoeFlackothat looks awful 😅
Yes, that is a list of 11 names.
