That last thing that you just pointed out is exactly what i have been having trouble with in SmartSuite, great content. I am finishing a Python course and next is your airtable course. To a successful 2024, thank you Garreth
What I particularly like about Smartsuite is the global task view. This is exactly what many similar apps (including Notion) lack. The fact that you can position the elements freely, including sections that can be collapsed, is also a big advantage! But Airtable seems to me to be more robust and perform better... Can you do something like a rolling count in Airtable or Smartsuite? So that you refer to the previous row to create a kind of account book, for example?
I am using both, and I agree entirely. Formulas and scripting in Airtable make it possible to manipulate, link, and present the data in endless ways. I also have yet to learn how SmartSuite would handle a large number of fields in one table or how it can parse dates.

My most anticipated video. Respect that you have a balanced view on SS and AT.
Thanks for watching! I think it's important to highlight what software does better than the competition!
Glad that that you cover both sides of the story here 😊
Great commentary 👍
Hope you enjoyed it!

Glad it helped! Cheers! 🥂
Air table for life thanks to Gareth
Thanks!
@GarethPronovost are you in your business using airtable only, or are you using smartsuite too?
We use both, depending on the needs of the project. 👌

Hi Gareth! Can you set up Airtable to allow 2 way syncing with google sheets? Thanks!
I'm a way, yes. It can't be a true two-way sync, but you can get these results by building automations to update each direction
@@GarethPronovost Great. Thank you for getting back to me!
didn't know SS doesn't have conditional actions in automation; that's a big deal. I wish SS had SQL abilities
Haven't you just posted one on how Smartsuite is better? :D
If you watched first few minutes he explained that
Sorry but you must pick your favorite 😂
Can't I keep using both? 😂

Always strengths and weaknesses for everything. Thanks for watching!
