Went to school in germany from 65-75. Graduated in 75' from Heidelberg American High School. Lived in Patrick Henry Village for 3 yrs and then 7 yrs off base in both Hirschhacker and Schwetzingen. Army rules only allow service families to stay on base for 3 yrs if they extend their stay. Soooooo many memories............ Now I see PHV and HHS gone.... brought goose bumps and tears to my eyes.... An amazing experience, friends, proud high school & legacy .....

hard to believe that it's all closed down and all the lives that were there are now long gone.....50-60 yrs of Americans have had a part of their lives spent in H-berg.
