    I'm about to release a new game after winning the GMTK Game Jam 2024 with it.
    You can wishlist it here: store.steampowered.com/app/3215120/Blueprint_Bob/

  • @SeahorseGames
    @SeahorseGames  2 года назад +95

    Some other data I didn't include in the video:
    Highest concurrent Twitch viewers was 35,422 which was when sodapoppin played the game
    Wishlist conversion rate is currently at 10.6% (172 conversions out of 1688 wishlists in total)
    15 Units were sold on Mac
    13 Units were sold on Linux
    Made around $16 on this RUclips channel during the same period
    78% of the users opened the game at least once (465 users)
    38% of those users beat the game (177 users)
    11% got all achievements (51 users)
    Somehow 3 users managed to open the game without getting the achievement for opening the game (the game probably crashed LULE)

      @@andresmetalowl1151 Probably true, think it's because the game relies on the jokes in the minigames instead of trying to be fun to play (even though I still think it's pretty fun to play Copesen) which means once you've seen it you don't really need to play it yourself.

    Thanks for sharing the information, that's very cool of you! 😄
    By the way, I'm from Argentina and I know for a fact that people started buying more games since Steam changed the currency in the Argentina store from U$D to AR$, however the price you can see in that list (15:25) is not accurate. In Argentina there are a lot of extra taxes that you have to pay on top of that base price. I'm not sure how much because I don't live there anymore but there is a chrome extension that shows the real prices 😁

    I live in Argentina, the price might seem like half but that's because the government adds over 50% tax so in paper we end up paying like everyone else.
    In reality the dollar currency here is extremely expensive and we end up paying more since we need to use the black market to get them or buy from a reseller wich usually charges x3 the steam price.

    Hello Alexander. Just wanted to say, and I'm trying not to be a dick here but give a bit of constructive criticism, that your game seems to have a very simple gameplay, so it's hard to expect lots of people buying it despite thousands of twich viewers. Twitch creators played it for the lulz, as the title suggested. I'm sure a bit more engaging game mechanic would draw more buyers. Good luck with your next projects!

    hi im from Argentina and yes our prices on steam are the cheapest in the world because our economy is a mess.
    There are even times that certain games do the conversion to pesos wrong and end up being cheaper for a short time. until they fix it.
    that happened with the game " The Callisto Protocol " that it was at ARS$ 649,99 for a couple of hours and then was fixed. if u are from USA ,that is like $4.83.

      @SeahorseGames  2 года назад +3

      I'm not sure you can even have ads on steam games, I have never seen that. But I definitely think I would have made less if you could. The reason I believe this is that I don't think the game would have reached a much larger audience if it was free. More people would obviously have played it but I don't think the ad-rev from that would have been enough.

    I'm from Argentina, I can buy any game I want, it's super cheap for us. And it's even cheaper than it looks because $1 = 320 ARS, a game that's $20 cost 225 ARS for us, and that's $0.70! The only problem is if we buy it depositing money to steam, we have to pay our goverment 60% because for international purchase fee, but that would be 360 ARS or $1.12 still. I always buy them with steam wallet funds, that I get from investing and selling items on the community market. I wish I could gift games to anyone but they are only giftable to my region, south america.
