Hey Dale and Paula ! I stayed at Bellagio last month and it was awesome as always . I loved the Spring conservatory . Bellagio has one of my favorite pool complexes and the new poolside bar and Como restaurant is a great addition. I had way too many cocktails sitting at the bar but who’s counting lol . Enjoyable video as always 😎😎😎
I’d never eaten at the former poolside cafe largely because I actually wasn’t familiar with it, so thank you for this wonderful introduction to Como! I’m looking forward to checking it out during my next Bellagio stay (if I can pull the family away from Sadelle’s one morning for breakfast!)
We were there in May, and got to see that display the day before they dismantled it. Always beautiful and very elegant. Thanks for another great vlog. Amazing camera work! Stay well, best regards
Having visited the Bellagio Conservatory for 20+ years, it is VERY noticeable the quality has gone done, their budget (I’m sure) has been slashed, and the use of artificial flowers has increased dramatically. (Welcome to 2024 🙄🤷🏼♂️). At the turn of the century, almost EVERYTHING was real! Flowers, trees, bushes, etc. it’s still nice to visit, and today’s visitors probably don’t even notice it, but for those with a discerning eye……it’s very noticeable. Thanks for the tour. The Como remodel is very nice, but again, I’m noticing all of the CITRUS trees that were around the pool are gone!! I’ll miss the blooming citrus blossoms!
I 100% agree. I don’t think the real decline in revenue at the strip is being reported. Worst economy in 40 plus yrs has to have a significant impact. Fjb
Accessibility of so many things to food been restricted...gas, you name it😢. I lived here in Summerlin 24 yrs so this update is helpful enough! Yr video is so well narrated -thanks! ❤
A beautiful display as always, but I still like the display before this tea and tulips better. We stayed at the Bellagio last December for a night and I don’t remember seeing Como. The new renovations are very nice. Paula, I like your earrings they look like slices of lime.
The Conservatory is always fun to see. I had to chuckle when I heard Dale say "we" in the voiceover with regard to an 8 am breakfast destination, as I know he is like me and that is too early to be out somewhere by choice.🤣
Knott's has lots of Steampunk now too. Also you can see where they store all the conservatory elements on the escalator up to the tram on the right. I'll show you some time! ;)
As always, thank you for the wonderful walk throughout the Bellagio Conservatory. I’m planning a trip to Bellagio soon and planning to eat at the Como as well. Thank you both.
I love the Bellagio displays & really appreciate your blogging about the seasonal changes. Thank you so much for doing this! I even appreciate you posting the closing date of Sept 7, but bummed out as my next visit starts on Sept 8! All to often I'm in town while they're closed for display changes! I wanted to get my trip in before the F1 prep spoils the strip - didn't take the conservatory change into consideration. My bad. Do hope Dale has a wonderful Father's Day.
We will be at the Bellagio, our go to MGM resort for six nights starting Wednesday. I’m looking forward to watching this video with my wife later this afternoon. We love your videos. Thanks.
Loving the summer display and getting to see it put together. I’m actually surprised the prices at Como were so reasonable for somewhere on the Strip and brand new. I’d totally check them out when I’m next in town. Great video!
I was thinking the same thing. I am terrified of birds so I don’t want them flying around me while I’m trying to eat, so I guess I will not be sitting on the patio at Como. 😂
This is Paula - I didn’t mean to imply the place was overrun with birds, not at all. But yes, if outdoor dining isn’t your thing, Sadelle’s is fabulous, my favorite spot in Bellagio.
I’ll be honest…we just got too busy to devote the time to it. During the pandemic (when we first started it), it was much easier to spend two Sundays a month filming two episodes, and then doing the editing. As life got more wide open again, and we gained a granddaughter…and we found ourselves spending a great deal more time perfecting the Sunday videos…we just can’t seem to carve out that time any more. Not saying we won’t…but probably never again at the frequency that we used to.

Always nice to see a Vegas tour. Pretty flower & it’s a huge production. I compare it to the Rose bowl. Enjoy your summer. Keep cool 🤠🍀👍

Always love the Conservatory tours, especially for seasons I can’t see it in person.

@@DaleMcKenzie Paula, you didn’t. I’m a fan of your work and your videos. But I live outdoor dining. Just terrified of birds .
Happy Father's Day to Dale!
Never realized one could get their breakfast sausage cooked to order!
Yes, I always get my bacon cooked to order because I like mine extra crispy. Most places are happy to do it.
@@monicasanders810 Bacon I understand. But shouldn't breakfast (pork) sausage always be fully cooked (i.e, well-done)?
@@chrisd2076 True sausage should be cooked well done
I saw you at the mirage by the elevator today Monday June 17.
Oh you should have stopped us and said hi!!
