As an owner, I hope I’m wrong, but Saka isn’t really a captain option for me because, while he regularly returns, he rarely hits big. 1-2 goal contributions max. Palmer, Salah and Haaland put up 3-4 much more regularly and we want those massive hauls from our captains

Havertz has a higher captaincy ceiling than Saka, imo. The way he presses could create chaos in that Southampton defence. I'm seriously considering going there.
Exactly where I went instead, just not enough goal threat from Saka to justify an extra 1.9/2m from Havertz. Needed to cover Arsenal attack in case of a haul.
You said Saka can be just as explosive as the others, yet last season Saka didn't get more than 2 returns in a single gameweek once. And he only got more than 1 return on 5 occasions.
Forest while playing away have better defensive numbers (xGoals Conceeded) than when playing at Home. They simply sit back and park the bus on away fixtures.

@@crystallan21ake will rotate with gvardiol and akanji seems more nailed than Dias. Stones has been on and out the last 12 months, think stones will be preferred in midfield with Rodri’s absence with kovacic or Rico lewis next to him
Talking about overall rank as long as your above the average at this point, then there's nothing to worry about once it's sort of GW15 then you get a real indication of where you'll end up.
Should I get Lewis or Konaté? One of them has great fixtures, the other one doesn't. However, Lewis might not play as mentioned, and Konaté looked good in the attack last game. But Konaté's fixtures are a bit scary, will be hard for him to keep those clean sheets.
Things can turn very quickly, I went from 2.8mil to 199k....WTF. Anyway, thinking out loud....thinking doing Salah to Foden, free up funds that can make Joao Pedro to Solanke......thoughts? Have Palmer, Haaland and N Jackson already.
Saka has taken on the responsibility of being the team's creative midfielder that was once occupied by odegaard. I feel like when odegaard comes back saka will be more of a goal threat moving forward, but for now he's just creating chances for others.
Who is daft enough to own Fernandes, let alone a content creator (smiley laughy face) !. Sobering thought-13 FPL points to the end of GW6. That is the same number of points as Jacob Ramsey who has hardly started a game. Also the same as Murphy from Newcastle. In terms of Salah v Palmer- This year, Palmer 61 points, Salah 59 points. Last year Palmer 244 points from 2,617 minutes (0.093 points per minute). Salah 211 points from 2,531 minutes (0.083 points per minute). I used minutes rather than games as Palmer only started games from about gw8, and Salah was injured for a period. Even this year Palmer is still 2 million cheaper. In my humble opinion, not too much to think about.
Arsenal are playing against Ramsdale though as well. Even though Southampton's defense is awful, I bet Ramsdale produces a master class. Ramsdale also knows the Arsenal players habits. Saka might find it tough to score.
It only becomes a real thing when you sell. Also, the buy price won’t be what you get for selling them. Use the list view in the transfers screen to see how much you can get for them.
Why are people acting like wildcard 6 was a disaster? that really depends on the team and even then is way too early to tell. I went a Haaland, Saka and Palmer team on wildcard and am really happy with the squad going forward.
Saints are conceding so many chances and the playstyle plays in to that too. Leicester have a better defence and conceded 36 attempts, 16 on target and 12 goalkeeper saves.. Can easily see us losing 5-0. Saka captain for me this week. Has to be.
I have a no haaland team, ranked 980k. on a wildcard now. I am tempted to continue without him, but all influencers demand to play and captain him. Seems to boring to me
Unpopular opinion, but I believe haaland can't score as many goals as he has without Kevin debruyne supplying him the passes. Against arsenal all they could do was pass the ball side to side outside of arsenal's penalty box.

A City player that's getting very little press is Manuel Akanji. Minutes have really solid all season long. Looks 100% nailed.
My choice of defender from GW1 ..
Surely Stones and/or Ake when fit come into thinking
Gvardiol is a glorified winger / attacking midfielder. No point going Akanji when he's only a bit less.

Odegaard has been left out of the Norway squad for October and their manager said he wasn't close to returning.
It would be very uncreative for them if the mistery card is an unlimited free hit card just like in fwc or f euro.
