Just bought this sigma 150-600 lens. Will be filming in clog with canon c100 mkii. Starting iso for clog is 800. I'm looking at buying a polizier 95 mm filter as nd is built in behind lens. Filming at 30fps shutter will be set to 60 180 degrees. Question is simple. Will this lens allow enough light in to use a polizier. Looking at photography they seem to use a shutter of 1000. But video is a different animal and being shutter will be 60 or 120 for 60fps I was thinking using slow motion at 30p timeline bringing in 60fps footage to get cinema type nature shots in clog using a polizier using clog. Is this possible or am I going to waste my money on a polizier? If I could make colors pop and remove the glare off the water oh the shots would look beautiful

It is possible to use a polarizing filter! Now the Sigma with its minimum aperture at F5 will naturally pose in low light, namely early in the morning when getting up and in the evening when going to bed.
I use a Meike adapter with interchangeable filters so for photos I use a neutral filter and for video as a general rule I use the variable ND filter 3 to 500 to respect the 180 rule.
Now when I film very early or very late to avoid exceeding ISO 800 I film with my neutral filter then approximately 40 minutes or even 60 minutes after sunrise I change to the ND filter. In these conditions using a polarizing filter would make me increase the ISO even further but it would be possible to actually have a better reading, particularly of the water surface. Now combined 2 filters in certain conditions very present sun and heat and well I think that this will harm the quality of the image to a certain extent! But it’s still playable! Hope this answer helps you a little!

Can't seem to decide whether to keep waiting for the sony a6700 and use it with the 150-600 sigma sport or get the R7 with the 150-600 sigma C, it would save me quite a bit of money to be fair. What do you think? Would be great to hear your opinion.

Hello, Difficult choice indeed, the Canon R7 + Sigma 150-600 combo presents a value for money difficult to beat now be careful the Sigma is not optimized for the R7 but works correctly! Now the big advantage of the Sony A6700 = its objective range, in particular with the SIGMA 18-50 F2.8 and the 200-600 ... I admit that I bought the R7 because many rumors announced the release of many objectives in RF-S range and the opening of the range for third-party brands ... for handling and ergonomics I will still choose the barrel as well as for the comfort of the aim but the 2 devices are quite close! Good choice to you! Ludo
