On the photo @ 23:30 there are an Atari ST computer with Atari monitor and a basaball cap with the "Dyewitness" logo. And a small fake computer monitor which is a 3.5" disk box designed in such way (on the upper right but not the real computer monitor of course). This photo had to ba taken in the mid 90's judging from the range of the equipment, Misjah's young look and the "Dyewitness" cup. But it also may be just a room styled this way on purpose. ;) Nice photo and nice mix.
Maybe you remember of "What would you like to hear again?" and a few others by Dyewitness. It was between 1992 and 1994. Misjah performed as Dyewitness until 1996. What is shown on that picture seems to match the period.
theres still producers who mix/sum in analog with productions n make use of old kit with this kind of sound in mind, not everyone has all gone fluffy software sounding software DAW minimal (Y)

I always found pretty strange this period of techno. Right after the big acid storm of the 90’s and the colder and more abrasive digital techno of the 2010’s, I always found most of the techno tracks of this era rather generic, monotonous & flavorless, with mostly all the same sound, with percussion patterns everywhere. Some solid tracks are from that era of course but I never felt it was the best time for techno.
