An interview with Abdul Wahid al-Nur

The Sudan Liberation Movement / Army (SLM/A) under the leadership of Abdul Wahid al Nur has fought against the former regime, the National Congress Party and inherit marginalisation of the Darfuri people for the past 23 years. The Central Darfur State-based rebel group is also opposed to the current war and sees it as an extension to a conflict that has plagued Sudan since independence. Abdul Wahid sat down with Ayin in an exclusive interview to discuss his views concerning the roots of the current conflict, the ongoing humanitarian crisis, and the future of the movement.
