It’s comments like this that let me know Linux users are kind of clueless. You aren’t getting rid of windows , just avoiding it. I will never choose Linux on a gaming laptop, even proton can’t make miracles happen..no matter how much people despise it windows isn’t going anywhere

seems like IPC in hyprland cannont connect on my laptop. (fixed it btw)
can use obs for recording it works fine with hyperland

If you don't want to use hyprpaper, you can use SwayBG.
I wanted at login to use the pywal wallpaper from the 'colors' file to be applied but hyprpaper didn't do it automatically, I switched back to Swaybg, zero issues.

Don't use hyprland it is good for our personal satisfaction but please stick with kde plasma powerfull that ever in plasma 6 ... plasma 6 equals 10 hyprland set-up 😂

There is actually a reason for not using Hyprland, let‘s just say the main developer has been repeatedly inappropriate behaving and is now banned from contributing to freedesktop infrastructure
