We are greatly blessed for having been able to celebrate the colorful 18-year journey of our beloved Unima Choir despite the circumstances. We are deeply honored and humbled by the kindness and kinship shown by so many people along this journey. The global challenges we face today have not separated us but have only brought us closer together not only as fellow choristers, but more importantly, as a family. In fact, in these troubling times, our goal of inspiring others with our music has only grown in importance, and we derive strength from those around us as well as those for whom we perform.
We extend this song to all of us who feel helpless, isolated or lost amidst this pandemic, to remain hopeful, united and patient. May it bring you healing, joy, a moment’s pause for reflection moment or anything else it may bring out from within you.
We are thankful for the tremendous and limitless support from our dear alumni from all over the world. It has been a difficult time to make arrangements for creating music in person, but we are grateful that we live in a time where we have been able to participate virtually.
For the co-leaders of this project, Petrick and Riksa, we thank you so much.
All and all, let’s hope for the world to heal and for all of us to be together again.
