For anyone wanting to give the Biathlon “experience” a try... get a pellet rifle, set up a target 10m away from your shooting line. The bullseye should be approx 1cm in diameter. Then go an sprint 400m, starting and ending at your pellet rifle. Once you get back to your rifle, shoot 5 pellets into that bullseye. That will give you somewhat of an idea of what Biathlon is about.
dunno if you guys gives a damn but if you are bored like me during the covid times then you can watch pretty much all the latest series on instaflixxer. Have been binge watching with my girlfriend during the lockdown =)
Am I the only one to notice that the Russian biathlon athlete has the same family name as Vasily Zaitsev? The famed Soviet sniper, Hero of the Battle of Stalingrad with 200+ kills. Accurate shooting runs in the family.
There are ways to do it if you are in the vicinity of Gouda or Uden - both places have large Nordic sports clubs. I think most do it with air rifles though.... NL is not a country that supports its athletes in this sport - just ask Herbert Cool or Chardine Sloof.

And than try counting to 5 foul laps that shit is crazy hard
Standing at 10m is about the same as the black portion of the ISSF air rifle target - about 3cm diameter. Prone indeed about 1.5cm. Not easy at all.
thank you never planning on giving biathlon a try👍
No thanks
You're missing the freezing temperatures and the wind that makes the temperature even more horrible and the shooting harder
This race was then cancelled for bad weather conditions.
I've never seen these and wondered if they regularly did it in harsh blowing snow. I could tell it was bothering the first one to get there.
impressive shooting in those conditions

@Chandler Moshe Yup, been watching on InstaFlixxer for years myself =)
Damn. Shooting with high wind, accuracy, and distance. Badass right there.
😎
I looked it up, and they're shooting a 1.6 inch wide circle at 55 yards. Pretty insane.
This has to be the most Finnish sport in existence.
What about rally car racing?

Any Finns named Hayha?
I didn’t notice until you mentioned it. But Ememy at the Gates is an incredible movie
She also won two gold medals and one silver. 3 world champs gold. But was stung for doping later on.
That is some Awesome shooting!!!
The summer Olympics should have a marathon and shooting just like this
There is a summer biathlon.
The entire season should be held there. We haven't had a single windy race this season so far.
The wind is unbelievable!
I swear, everytime I miss at a 25m target competition the wind was blowing like in this video!
I love biathlon, wish we had that in Holland
Tell me why there is no biathlon in the Netherlands?
@@daimonnotvampire5438 because of no snow
We”re lucky if it snow’s 2 week a year

in this conditions the race have to never start!
Det blåser storm och de lyckas nolla. Då har man tränat mycket.
In America, this sport is played at a city while eating burgers and shooting a desert eagle with one hand
I am from India and I came to know about this sport in a while and I would say it gives a War like feeling
Like a hunter or lone soldier
"Take your best shot, Flatlander Woman"
"I gave it my best shot"
I like to think of this sport as “James Bond training at the olympics”
I wanna do this with a SAW and a snowmobile🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Heck ye
Clearly they're training for war, why not continue in these conditions?
The wind is insane! How the fuck are they so accurate.
Heia Ann Kristin Flatland ^^
Today I found out that a biathlon is not in fact two of the three things in a triathlon, but rather SKIING AND SHOOTING RIFLES 😂
There were probably difficult to shoot
Could you imagine shooting like that while being winded lol
å salte søren.det der var imponerende under forholdene tatt i betraktning
Looks almost as gruelling as it did on the Commodore 64.
Damn, theirs looks like a spec ops from sniper unit
target is saint samuel jackson the movie star
I don’t know what’s the point of this but I like
The windy conditions, 50m to target, skiing first a few km, then do it... 😉
So Olympics for assassins
IT'S just part of World cup.
These guys would be amazing at children’s air soft
Yes, they're using a .22 rifle, but I wouldn't be surprised if young biathletes are trained on air rifles already.

Они все там творцы ! А обосрали Родченкова , хорошо хоть успел выехать , по слухам не всем удалось . Сезон 20/21 всё расставил по местам ,,,
