Had a look at one in Angling Direct, Slough. It didn’t strike me as a reel I would be happy paying nearly 200 quid for, it is not worth half that price. Plenty of reels on the market that cost less than 100 quid that are just as good, if not better. I opted for the Shimano 4000oc Baitrunner, cost 80 quid. Does the job nicely. 👍

Basic baitrunner, oh no sorry bite and run as baitrunner is a copyright owned name by the best fishing and also reel makers on the market.

@@lendavski What part is false? Shimano own the right to baitrunner, no one else can use that name, also in my opinion of 40 years carp fishing shimano are by far the best reel manu on the market by far but thats opinion, the first however is fact.
@@Jessebella1 They both have their plusses and minuses IMO and both make quality reels. Although I think Daiwa offers better value price wise.
I prefer my Shimano Technium magnesium 12000
too expensive
