How to shorten a hem on a dress? I am subscribed and you may have that one already? If not that would be a good one.
I have a denim dress that’s just a bit too big. I’m trying to watch your videos, compare- and figure out how it needs to be taken in 🤪✅

I love your tutorials. I wear lab jackets for work. They are too big and boxy so I think adding back darts would help the fit. I think this video would help, but wondering if there is a different/ better way to do a jacket?

    Hi Anastasia,
I found a jumper that is basically a dress but the "skirt" is sewn up to be a jumper dress with wide legs that still basically looks like a skirt. It is several sizes too big for meand I want to try to upcycle it. It is almost a Dolman style top with an invisible back zipper. It doesn't have back darts, but that's the route i'm going to try. It has vertical stripes and the waistband is gathered with a piece of elastic. How do I go about doing this with elastic at the waist? I was hoping it wasn't too big of a pain to leave a comment here about that. I love your upcycling videos. I've decided to dive in and just try some. That's the only way to learn! Happy 4th of July!

Would this method work to take in bulging fabric in the mid to upper back even when the waist fits? That is a common fit issue for me. Thanks!

Anastasia, I bought a Vogue pattern and read the outside of the envelope and it said that I should be creating a size 20! However, I'm a size 14. I have pinned the front and back legs together and already I can see that this is gigantic!. What can I do now I want to go back to a size 14. The finished garment, is a 40 inch waist and I am a 34

I guess stage 3 would be taking in a dress with a flat waist band.
