While attending the NAMM Show 2017, Deering artist and dear friend, Rik Barron recently tried a Vega White Oak banjo. He bought it on the spot and was so impressed that after two weeks, he insisted on returning to the Deering Banjo factory to share his thoughts.

Your right. Has its on voice. I ve looked at Seeder, Smakula, and Cedar Mountain banjos. Nothing sounds as good as this White Oak..iThis is by recording audio not hands on. But I’ve gotta get hands on.

I like everything but the presto looking tailpiece. Just don’t look right on a old time banjer. But that’s just me.
