is there another alternative to a 20 dollar pompom maker? I'm sure its great quality and it is adorable but im not sure if im going to like this craft and I don't want to have to commit 20$ straight off the bat. Is there maybe a diy pom maker I could use? I really want to try this out but she makes it seem that I need that pompom maker. Any intel would be greatly appreciated.
Yes! 👍 You can run an extra piece of long yarn around the pom maker (after tying it well with waxed thread and before you take out the pom maker parts) and use it to hang your pompom or attach to a key ring etc. Happy pom pom making!

Sorry forgot to mention, it's just a piece of masking tape rolled up! I use it to clean the fluff : )

Felting needles have little barbs on the end of the needle, this causes the fibers to tangle together and hold shape.
