I would like to take you on the Day in The Life of Busy working mum of 3.
I am a busy mum of 3 kids and also a full time working professional. I work as a Financial Controller and I am an ACCA qualified so I just wanted to take you through my working day. I have been working throughout pandemic remotely from home but now I do work some days in the office. Today was one of those days when I had been working in the office. I am also an ACCA and I qualified in 1970 when I was 24. When I left school at 15 I had no qualifications, but I started going to evening classes when 16 and slowly worked my way through exams and became a student of the ACCA, when I qualified I went to work in Zambia as an Accountant and also worked in Malawi, and Zaire for 6 monthly periods. I returned to the UK in 1976 and I had quite a few different jobs and temporary assignments, some quite high profile. Being a member of the ACCA is a great asset to have and opens doors for lots of opportunities.
That’s fantastic to hear that acca has been helping you to grow and develop in your career as an accountant. I hope too to grow and retire early to enjoy some good times before my late days. Thank you for sharing your story Allan

I do Mon- Friday 9-5:30 so standard 40hrs week

Wow, I feel like I don't want to study ever again, it drained me. Why did you choose to do the further study? is ACCA not enough? Where are you based?
@@AgnesMann I love costing so that's why I took cma. I am a teacher. FCA, CMA and ACCA students take classes. I am in South India

Yes I have been working in accounts for a while. I am at a different job now though... Do you work as an accountant too?

If you are an ACCA member does that make you a chartered accountant? Can you call yourself a chartered accountant?
Yes absolutely. ACCA is an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants is the global professional accounting body offering the Chartered Certified Accountant qualification.

What advice would you give to a student who is interested in acca ??
I would say it depends if you have what it takes to be an accountant. I will be making a video on this soon but for now I think you should see if you already have some knowledge and if you can get exemptions as that would help massively. Do you study accounting at the moment?

I did have a nanny for a while but now I am working from home so managing work and kids at the same time. Do you work from home too?
