- Maryland rapper IDK has been one of my favourite US artists since seeing him live with Denzel Curry back in 2018. But, in his teenage years IDK, real name Jason Aaron Mills, almost threw his life away after getting involved with an armed robbery.
This trip to jail actually ended up being a blessing in disguise, as it inspired IDK to start rapping...

I think he hasn’t completely blown up because from what I know I’m pretty sure he’s either independent now or has been independent for most of his career, he does not have the advantages industry plants have
personally hes yet to find his own sound. up until now his music has been great although highly derivative of his contemporaries. i feel like thats something hes correcting with his latest singles tho

Same reason as doom, he doesn’t want the attention. He turned down being signed to Kanye’s good music, I think he wants to do the independent/underground thing 🤷🏼♂️
