Welcome to India, Great video. I just wanna add one thing, sorta like a PSA, I am a delhiite who have hosted a lot my friends from all over the world in delhi. Paharganj is not a safe area to live in as.a foreigner, especially if you're a solo-traveller and more so a female. Majority of the bad experiences that we hear about from people travelling to Delhi come from this particular area. It's right next to Delhi's illegal red light district area and that's why there hundereds if not thousands of low price hotels, motels and other stay options. I'd never recommend anyone to stay in this area as it's full of scammers and very shady people whose sole goal is to take advantage of foreigners and exploit them in any way possible. Delhi is not just a city but an experience, especially the first time you're visiting. It has so many great localities to stay at and it's incredibly well connected to everything. Most people are super welcoming and friendly. Just book your stay anywhere in the south delhi region, hostels if you're on a budget or go for an airbnb if you can manage to spend 30-50 usd per night. You'll have an amazing time here. Cheers.

Hi! Thank you for the information. I found Paharganj mostly safe but very hectic. But I am also a solo male traveller so that could be a factor. But I visited Gurguram and Southern Delhi during my time there and can definitely say I would've rather stayed there instead of Paharganj. But as you say Delhi definitely is an experience and my experience in Delhi has been unforgettable!

5:10 Yes, putting arms around your guy friends (or even holding hands) while walking is pretty common.

Paharganj is perhaps the worst possible place to stay in Delhi. Even most domestic tourists chose to stay away from that place. If you're still in Delhi check out Connaught Place and Aerocity, you'll get way better hotels and places to see. And not too expensive either. Have a good trip!

Oh is that true? I didn’t do my research properly I guess then, but Paharganj was the cheapest place I could find essentially but my stay was okay. Checked out Connaught Place and Aerocity also and can tell that those were nice places also! Maybe next time…

Do you guys really seek for garbage, dirt , shit in a country to show how bad a country is ...if not then why don't you guys don't go to places like kashmir, goa, lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar and many other places in Delhi to visit..I m just fade up of gus like.. enough By the way India's GDP is way more than Philippines..

This comment is uncalled for because I showed nothing but the hotel, which I said was good and did not say anything negative about…
