Most guys wouldn’t have even shared that mistake and would have continued to look perfect. Much respect and glad you are okay
Thank you 🙏🏼 I try be be transparent and show the dark side to riding, we’ve all been there where we crash either pushing our limits or making silly mistakes and there’s no shame in learning from them
@@s1krocket Brother, last few videos you got pulled over and crashed. I've been following you since 5k subs and you rode right by my house in this video. Don't want to see you abruptly stop uploading one day and wonder what happened to you. Chill out a bit, brother. Are you doing a Cyclesmith track day? I'm going to Thompson on May 6 with my track bike.
@halcyon_studio dawg I got pulled over for no plate and crashed because of a mistake I appreciate the concern but these videos happened months apart lol I’m doing track days at NYST
@@s1krocket To be fair, the cop said he pulled you over for speeding, and crashes are always because of a mistake. I used to ride a lot more recklessly and I had a real bad crash when I was in my early 20's as a result. I know you don't want to hear it, I certainly didn't. The big one can happen to any of us, as hard as that is to internalize. I ride with an airbag vest now and it gives me a bit more peace of mind. Ride safe and have fun brother, enjoy the track day!
@halcyon_studio I’ve already had my big crash, broken neck, dissected carotid artery and collapsed lung, at the fault of another driver, he didn’t radar us we just accelerated quickly from the red light, but thank you bro you ride safe too!
“My tires suck” … this explains everything. IYKYK
Typical track guy IYKYK
Skill issue
Seems like to much throttle he should of kept it constantly and slowly increased but seems like dude just gave it to much slipped under him
@frivera735 I kept my throttle consistent the whole time 😂 only time it increased is when I crashed and I still had my grip on the throttle
@@s1krocket it's pretty clear you were powering out before the apex of the turn, skill issue
I’ve ridden over 40 years with scars. Learn now. If you ride fast on the street, sooner or later you will pay a higher price than you ever expected to pay. I’ve had friends killed. Decide now not to play road racer on public roads. Let the other guys do it if they want. Seriously. Be the wiser one. All the best. Joe
It’s crazy all the times that I’ve crashed besides this one it’s at the speed limit with other idiot cagers involved who “didnt see me”
💯 agreed. I’ve lost 2 friends riding in the canyons like their at the track. Stupid.
Exactly why I got a cruiser and ride safe. Not riding on edge like this doofus says
What a good boy 🥹
All fun and games until you die little boy. Save that bs for the track. Y’all be having track suits tryna ride on streets tryna be cool. Simmer down little boy. Don’t disappoint your mom
You have to stop rolling onto the throttle so early into the corner bro. Thats a rookie ass mistake.
We all learn and make mistakes 🤷🏼♂️
Im glad your ok tho homie. But you gave it like 15-20% too much. You shoulda just kept the initial throttle you gave it and you woulda been good even with bum tires.
@@s1krocketim sorry how i came off, i watch alot of your content. But yea we live and learn. ❤.
I mean I appreciate it there was just no need to say it was a rookie mistake, I’m always open to advice, I think the crash makes it seem like I throttled hard but when my tire slipped out in the rear is when I gave it gas cuz I fell, I should’ve just waited a second longer when I hit the apex to throttle completely out of the corner but it didn’t even seem like the tires attempted to grip the ground, I appreciate the advise tho bro no hard feelings I shouldn’t have said what I said either
Can u explain what rolling onto the throttle is? Newbie myself so yeah
Yeah, I have to agree with @YongL_rd, you can hear you come on the throttle before the apex of the corner. Trail the brakes into the apex and don't throttle up until you want to stand the bike back up. All stuff that track days will teach you. Glad you are ok, and very glad you had your suit. One of the things the group I ride with says every time we go out is "Do NOT chase the rabbit!". What that means is, don't chase the guy in front of you. The minute you try to keep pace with someone, that's when stuff can go wrong. Don't worry if the crash sakes your confidence for a bit, it happens to all of us. The important part is to be able to analyze what happened and to be honest with yourself on why it happened.
Yeah a very fixable mistake I have to learn from thankfully this is my track bike and I have 9 lined up this summer so I’ll be learning a lot and improving my skill as a rider. That’s exactly why I backed off my boy in the front he knows that road like the back of his hand and it was like my second time on it haha
A tip from experience here - don't tell your mom! Ever. She will only worry. You know the risk riding, don't need to make mom worry more that she already does. Good stuff BROTHER!
damn that sucks glad your ok
Thankfully the damage wasn’t too bad
Im not gonna lie…it felt like your were trying to keep up with the buddy ahead. He was zooming. Also felt like you were a bit over your skill level, felt like your were pushing. Amazing how the suit protected you man. I fell at 40 mph and had only shoes and helmet, got roadrash all over. Glad to see you are ok. Also big props for posting this, takes courage 🫡
youve never seen him on the s1k than lol
It was just a new road to me and yeah I was pushing but only was out of my comfort zone on one corner it’s just I wasn’t too familiar with it but I probably should’ve been going slower, always gotta post my fails tho to many people in the community don’t show the dark sides of riding and I try to be authentic about making mistakes and learning from them
I will say this would’ve never happened if I was on my s1k I’m wayyyy more comfortable on that bike 😂
@@s1krocket instantly blames tire
Yes as confirmed by many professional track riders the tires played a huge roll in the crash along with my own skill set 😁
Glad you're okay, full gear saves definitely. Would you mind if we feature it in our next episode? credited of course
so glad that you're not hurt man
God had a reason he decided to wear the suit that day for first time
Dude I'm so glad you are OK and that you had the leathers on even tho it sucks you damaged them. Shows how important they are....they don't only look badass but save you when needed! Really respect you and your boys for how you ride and gear up and share the bike life with the rest of us! Keep making the vids bro I really enjoy them!
Just glad that you didn't get hurt. Really enjoyed to be finally back and the warm feeling you gave me with it kind felt like coming home, like fr. God bless y'all❤
I died when he said "Idk what to tell my mom" 🤣 Very glad you are alright
2:16 you know bro just made a core memory for the school children on board LOL
glad you’re ok man, all these people saying “rookie mistake” would high side your S1K before they even left 1st gear man 😂
If I was on my s1k this would’ve never happened either that’s why I’m pissed 😂
It is though...
Well every motorcycle mistake is a "rookie mistake" because they all boil down to: you should have gone slower.
@@s1krocket I'm curious, why? Would you not have crashed on your s1k because of a mechanical difference, or because you're more used to it? Sorry if this is a dumb question I'm tryna learn as much as possible.
I’m so glad you’re okay!! Definitely a good thing you had your suit on and everything
"people are going so slow"
Says the guy doing 140+ in a 65
55*
Glad that nothing worse happend to you, Good that you had that gear though. Is it perhaps for me to include you in my next video? fully credited of course :)
Yes you can include it!
@@s1krocket Thank you bro and ride safe. (btw with these quality riding content you gonna hit the 100K soon 💯)
Always wondered how you got your clips 😂
This video reinforces my belief that buying the safety gear and wearing it even in blistering weather is just the way to go. I am glad you walked away from that one dude you were flying!
Glad you’re ok bro, sucks crashing. Can’t wait to see her on the track!
Better to scrape up your suit than your skin dude. It did what it was supposed to do. Glad you’re okay.
As much as it sucks to crash it humbles you as a rider
When I came off I thought I was Valentino Rossi then soon realised I am not 😂
Bro I FELT that 😂 it was humbling for sure seeing how easy it was for me to go down
Looks like you were wearing good gear, I'm very glad that was the case. It takes a lot of maturity to display our mistakes, and it's a real service to do so because it keeps others from making the same or similar ones. The missteps we walk away from are incredibly valuable, and may keep us from making greater errors down the line.
I'm glad that you're all good and that shit happens to everyone at some point and it sucks. Anyways love the content!
People who are saying rookie mistakes is very disrespectful. Mistakes will happen and it’s a part of life. No one is perfect on riding bikes, cars etc!! I’m grateful you are okay but me seeing your video and when you were riding with your friend around the woods area, you did say “I can’t do it” which i think that was your gut saying to slow it down,(ps you were pretty low man) but you kept going leading to you sliding off. ITS OKAY at the end. Continue to learn and grow! Don’t worry you aren’t the only one a lot of people make mistakes. Please ride safely. God bless you ❤❤
Soon as the s1K breaks then ya go on to drop the zx 😭😭, nah but glad your okay brother, keep us updated on the s1K 🙏🏽🙏🏽
What happened to his s1krr? Unreliable or he dropped it too ?
@kudossuazo it’s getting warranty work done
Hopefully I get it back this week
@@s1krocket that would actually be so sick, I hope you too brother 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Ahhh ok lol because I do want an s1krr 😭
Thanks for keeping it ream. Respect. Glad you and the bike are mostly ok! Safe riding everyone
Just glad your good fam! But gotta love the coms in your videos! Steady have me geekin 24/7 lmao
Damm bro this is eye opening... we gotta slow down jus a lil bit, we can only tempt fate so many times, like everybody else said, glad ur good 🔥
Glad you're okay!! Im getting my first bike soon its an r7 kinda nervous of dropping it but im gonna wear gear till im fully confident im hella excited!
Being nervous will keep you alert and stops you from showing off… enjoy the learning process and just have fun
Always wear your gear!!!
Btw put slides bars on the bike bro. Trust me 😂. Safe ridin
@nickmanino3575 frame sliders would’ve caused my bike to flip, I’ll never put frame sliders on my bike
That sucks, man. Glad you're alright. I watch your stuff all the time, so much so that I felt that drop. 😂😢 keep your head up, bud!
bro never apologize for ending the video early, just glad you're okay man, looking forward to the next vid and seeing what you do with the 600! Keep up the great content brother!
dont increase throttle till you wanna go straight. the moment throttle was increased you went straight off the road since the bike wasn’t pointed towards the road. smooth is the move. maintain throttle while cornering to avoid a simple mistake. this is a beginner rider mistake unfortunately. not to say an experienced rider wouldn’t make the same mistake, but this is something that you learn not to do on smaller cc bikes with more forgiveness in power. glad you are okay, dont let this little hiccup affect your mental, ride on brother🤙🤙🤙
I really appreciate the advice and I wish every comment was as helpful as this one, too many people just judging me for my mistake instead of helping like you 🙏🏼
@@s1krocketsome of these guys commenting probably dont even ride lmao. put them in the same exact scenario you were in without the hindsight and they would probably make the same mistake. we gotta help each other get better because that means we become safer riders as a whole. making it home in 1 piece is what matters at the end of the day :)
@rezaathari740 exactly bro it’s so easy to judge over the internet until you yourself are in the same situation, love people like you who genuinely want to help give good advice and watch someone become better the world needs more people like you 🙏🏼
My heart skipped a beat in that moment , i knew youd crash somewhere in the video . As always man stay safe out there we smile even when you make strap-on jokes going 40.
It is hard to not give in to the adrenaline but remember we dont get to watch your cool stuff if you dont make it back.
If not for your mom or yourself, take it easy for this random guy on RUclips to keep smiling watching your rides.
I appreciate this message it means a lot to hear this, thank you 🙏🏼
I’ve done a lot of high speed twisties riding. My first thought before you even crashed is that you’re getting too close to the outside of the corner. 1) it leaves little room for error if you’re too hot in the corner but 2) mostly that you’re getting too close to the loose stuff and the marbles. It goes straight from pavement to dirt (no shoulder)…have to stay away from that dirt and gravel in the corners.
My first crash hurt my feelings more than anything my buddy had my bike back together before the webs came out of my head , sometimes tires don’t grip very well they don’t get heat or you have some oil hit the rear maybe chain lube from cleaning day before your ride cause your excited to go . Stay cool bro keep riding and learning .
Since no one explained. See the corner brake brake brake, keep throttle steady to maintain speed throughout the corner, take corner, soon as your out the corner an see road straighten up then gas it.
I been riding 18 years an high sided about 12 years ago ripping my face up an breaking collar bone. Learn the hard way I guess. Glad your ok an didn't catch a tree or guard rail
U can get on the gas before you're out of the corner.
Yes but also..... no
@@slimfit767yes but why risk it one the road. That type lf riding should really be reserved for the track
That's the slow old guy way to ride.
He unloaded the front tire by throttling up too early...
The OP's method is very outdated.
@@ronaldoleon48Because it is not even close to a risk...
Nice video man
and what do you use to record your voice during rides? I have a GoPro mounted on my chin but when I record I can’t hear my voice very well.
I use the rode professional go, it’s $80-$90 on Amazon you need a go pro media mod to plug in the mic that’ll run you another $60
SO glad you are fine my brother, let's get everything fixed up, learn from the mistakes and start ripping again
Just tell your mom you slid out in a corner.......in about two years from now 🤣. I want to know more than just tires suck. How much gas were you giving it? Any slight bump induced unintentional throttle twisting? Any long unused glossed over area on the side of the tire, tires old and hard, too much or too little air pressure, flat spot in the middle and sudden angle at a particular spot in the cross-section? What? Inquiring minds want to know. Better the suit than your skin bro!
I was running Dunlop road smart 4s too start a sport touring tire so it’s very boxy and not meant to lean deep in corners, to answer your other questions they were fairly new had about 1,500 miles on them, road conditions were normal nothing out of the ordinary and tire pressure was normal as well
@@s1krocket Thanks for the info.
Out riding your skill. No hate just get back to the basics
It happens, can’t learn if you’re not trying to push your limits and try new things to get better 🤷🏼♂️
picking up my 24 zx6 on tuesday! glad you’re okay big dawg
"I don't even know what to tell my mom" had me weak lol same

Heyy are you alright??
Yes thankfully I didn’t get hurt
@@s1krocket phew im glad!! take care brother
Glad you are ok! What exactly did you do wrong? Looked like you werent leaning all too much? Like what would you change for next time, not to crash? Looked perfect before it started gliding?
Glad you're okay! Hey! May I use this video in my next episode? Watermarked and linked to your channel ofc
NOOOO WHYYY😢

Glad you're GTG! I quit squidding years ago. Switched to a geezer glide and never looked back.
Things happen! I am glad ur ok. Glad to see u wore all the gear ! You don’t look like a rookie. Ur very smart!
Dude you were actually going through that corner a lot quicker than the boy in front.
The gap between you two had reduced significantly by the time you came off.
Hope all is good I enjoyed the ride anyhow 👍
Glad you’re ok brother. Leading up to it peaking over 100 I was cringing the whole time waiting for the fall. Thank god it was “only” 50-55 😓
Glad your good man! The other stuff is easily replaceable. So glad to see you had the suit.
As long as you alright bro. Remember all that is materialistic 💪🏽
Oh man that low side sucks! Hope you're okay. Bikes can be replaced but people can't. 18:25 ripped that glove... good thing you had all the gear on! Nice!
Really glad that you heard hear on brotha and glad that your alright. It happens
Glad ur ok, 636 sounds sweet. Be safe bro.
Glad you are ok brother. Just had a crash a month ago and was not wearing gear. Ride safe
Glad that nothing bad happened to you. Can I include you in my next shorts? of course fully credited :)
ever heard of scrubbing in new tyres?? I do a 100 ride out when I change tyres on a specific route that by the end is quite twisty and allows me to feel the tyres working and I dont go over 70mph until I get a few heat cycles in them and see they are proper scrubbed, roads aint no racetrack and a license is something you nedd!
Damn man, the most important thing is that you didn't get hurt. Love from Germany 🤙
Dood, you are doing 70 through intersections. You have wayyyy more faith in humanity than I ever did when I rode.
YESSIRRRRR ANOTHER VID!!! But glad ur okay brother 🫡🫡
It's all good bro, thank God you didn't fly off a cliff and hopefully mom wasn't to too mad. 👍
Glad you're okay man. I see a lot of people saying you gave too much throttle too early, but the rev increase happened as you were falling. Maybe it was a little too much throttle, I dunno. I think it's more of sometimes the grip you get on public roads isn't always what you expect. The same amount of lean/throttle could work in 10 corners, but then that 11th one is just a little different. Gotta be careful pushing it out on public roads.
Happy you didn’t get hurt and that you had on your new suit. Big shout to you. Yall better follow my guy we fall and get back on and ride it out 💯 the northeast flex 💪🏽
Glad you just got a few scrapes and a busted bike. Ride long enough and you will go down. It happens to the best of us, luckily it was at 55 and not 180. Thanks for sharing, good to show others so they can learn. Big props bruh!
every single one of your videos is an advertisement for Adderall i absolutely love it hahahahahaha they helmet commentary is top tier
His downshift and going off throttle until 0:27 was correct. But indeed he added some throttle early at 0:28.5, as he increased lean almost same time at 0:29. Should have done the lean first before even adding maintenance throttle. I think the right moment to add some throttle would have been right after that bicycle road marker. But anyway all is said and done and im so glad youre ok and doing well!
I agree with you, i definitely got on my throttle a little bit early even if it was minimal, I should’ve waited 1 second and I would’ve been perfect, thank you bro 🙏🏼
glad you were able to walk away! From Connecticut too, Newtown area. Have the same bike too always down to ride 🤘🏼
Btw I laughed so hard at Eminem impersonation and strap on business idea. You my dude, brother. Subbed without a doubt!
My tyres! 😂😂 never a problem before you dropped it!
That was a weird lowside, definitely tires and not your fault. Early throttle application was fine, not out of the ordinary. Don’t listen to these idiots saying you got in it too early. Early throttle stabilizes the chassis. It was a slip situation not a throttle problem. I have done over 400 track days and ridden and raced for over 40 years. You were good bro, tires weren’t. No worries. You got this shizzle buddy. 🦾👍🫡💚😁🐉
Thanks for sharing. We learn with you. Ride safe.
Leaning to quick, it happens when you're in the inner and supposed to be outer to learn towards the left. At least he was geared up❤
We choose how much risks to take so I can't speak for others.
I still watch lots of crash videos to mainly help me choose the risks I take on rides.
I was about to hit the apex? I didn’t lean quick at all 😂
Put it behind you. Live and learn. The important thing here, you LIVED!
Glad youre alright. Obv it could be better but it could be way worse. Live to ride another day 🙏🏾
Hope you're okay bro. I just came off mine doing 20 and my damage was way worse.
Take care brother
Damn man scary glad you’re okay, and good on wearing that full suit 😮
Glad you’re ok bud. From Tolland area as well, let’s ride!!
“The only thing that’s broken is is this ass” lmao had me rolling 😂🤣😭
that is so unlucky especially after the s1k man, hope everything gets better.
Respect for sharing the video so others can learn. A couple takeaways from my POV. First you had just downshifted so the engine was at it's torque-iest and you got on the throttle early as others have pointed out. However you also appear to turn into the turn instead of counter-steering. I think counter-steering could have easily pulled you through that turn because the amount of throttle you used wasn't that bad. I watched the last few seconds a dozen times and the front wheel pushes left. Practice counter-steering and trailbraking until it becomes second nature. Also kudos for being fully geared up. Best decision you made that day.
I most definitely did not steer into the turn I’ve been riding 3 years and have taken turns wayyy deeper than this to know about counter steering, I’ll agree with everything else tho all about learning from mistakes
@@s1krocket Regardless it was brave to post the video. Most people couldn't take the criticism, myself included. Stay Safe!!
my man was more worried about the expensive gear than the bike. But you wear that gear for a reason! only your ego got hurt, nice one man. Stay safe!
Because the bike is fixable lol
@s1krocket, All good brother. Tires must be the first item to be replaced if there any doubt. European shoes are usually built for narrower feet, especially Italian, so usually you go up size on them to feet, you must be having Italian feet, brother. My dainese race boots are 45 and my normal shoes are 44
This makes me want to get a full suit so much more. I'm glad that you were geared up. Obviously, things could have been a lot worse if you weren't.
modern day motorcycles have world class performance..no some tuff talk..the way your riding your not gonna last long..wake up..street riding has so many dangers..gravel..oil..cars.. animals..the number #1 tip I can give you ...SLOW DOWN..I noticed on the freeway you were well over 100 mph..if police catch you at this speed chances are your going to jail..insurance cancelled..loss of drivers license..wish you well man..take it from a pro..wise up
Alright Mr John Doe I’ll take your advice no more fast riding for me 🫡
the one day bro decides to wear his gear. so lucky man glad your alright.
Glad you’re okay brother , better the suit than you . The only way you get better is learning from mistakes , ride safe 🤙
"this is not the way i wanted to break in my suit." what do you mean? that's the best way. now there's a story behind all the battlescars 😂😂
Combination of tyres and getting on throttle early as you are high up the rev band where the power is. Gear changes into corners were good. Just practice but you are better doing that on track you got lucky this time on the road
Definitely got lucky especially with it only being dirt where I crashed and not a guard rail, I have 9 track days this summer so I’ll be getting lots of coaching and practice in a way more safely controlled environment! Thank you for the comment 🙏🏼
bro, I feel you on the suit. But what matters most is that you're good. You can always get a newer suit. Im glad your good though
best way to break in gear is to break the gear man, glad your alright and stay safe
I am willing to bet that having brand new boots where you couldn't feel anything might have had a lot to do with it. I ride with well-worn boots that have 1000's of miles on them. I can feel my bike and know exactly where I'm at, especially through corners. I suggest you just walk around the house with them, mow the yard, with them, do whatever it takes and break them in. Get sliders as well. Thanks for showing us how easy it is to suddenly loose it, much respect. Have fun at the track, you going to love it!
Yeah I figured riding in them would help but nope I need to just keep wearing them everytime I go out and ride, thank you bro I appreciate it 🙏🏼
Bro the person who was waving no with their finger had me gone i was cackling 😭
He was pissed cuz my boy went flying by when I crashed 😂
Glad you're ok , ride safe .
So glad your ok bro
Regardless of what you say, you were on the throttle before those white road markings on the left of the road and the traction was lost 15 feet after the road markings. In fact you got on the throttle exactly where the telegraph pole was at the side of the road. That was before the back slid away. You were on the throttle too soon. This is a classic case of the bike being faster than the rider. You got away with it this time. Let's just hope that next time there isn't a young family in the way who might stain your leathers with their blood.
Y’all throw the most outlandish what if situations I’ve ever heard 😂
Bad luck. Happy you're OK!
