@@kylebroflovski9690 I wouldn't say no one likes it anymore, but there has been a serious oversaturation and decrease in quality over the last two years with no real overarching story. We are 5 years into the post Infinity Saga and nothing seems remotely linked.
The last Guardians was ok but not enough for me to go out of my way to buy another movie ticket

I’m glad to see Marvel slowing their roll. We gotta remember that it took just over a full decade to wrap up and land the Infinity Saga. I would like to see the same care taken with the multiverse saga.
Yeah, it’s like what they have been doing these past few years just makes no sense. That’s why they have been losing money.
I’m no Marvel or comic genius but I think a Stand By Me type-feel would be cool. No cosmic-level villains. No fate of the Earth in their hands. Just a well-written plot that provides cool character development with mostly child actors would probably be better received.

I have been saying this. Might as well call them the New Avengers bc Young just ain't going to work by then. I love how they got it right with Tom Holland when they casted him in his teens as an actual TEENAGE Spider-Man. But will take 25 steps backwards if they go back to casting like they did in the 90's and early aughts.

@@506Edai yes I have seen them. I'm just saying that when Holland got the role they ACTUALLY did it right and we're headed in the right direction. Now we going backwards again. Especially, since these little motherphuckas were casted years ago and age in real life. They will be considerably older , along with all the delays. They already recasted Cassie Lang twice once to show how 5 years passed in Endgame. And again bc she simply looked too damn old.

Assembling the right mix of people working together, to create magic on screen. Will be the biggest challenge for Marvel.

I would have said they could do that, before last year. But with all the changes they've made to the Kang storyline/and avengers 5. I don't think they really care about doing something like Ironlad from the comics. If they did a new Ironlad, he would be totally different from the young kang version.

I was predicting that young avengers would have to form during secret wars when all the older heros are abducted. Would be an interesting "snap" like event where the less experienced heroes have to take the place of their counterparts and then help to bring the OG heroes back. So it would be the other half to the secret wars plot.

I most excited about the Deadpool movie coming to the MCU. I think it's going to give the MCU the push into the rated "M" or "R" that it is looking to do with characters like Deadpool, Kingpin and others.

Don't really care for the Rated R stuff but can't wait for the new Deadpool movie
Deadpool movie will be cool, but the r-rated stuff will allow the Punisher to be made right - I hope!
If they soften him up, they will ruin that character, and I like Jon Bernthal as the Punisher. Might even be looking forward to him reappearing more than I am Charlie Cox’s Daredevil!
I think instead of cramming all the character meet and greets into a single movie, they make a series; Avengers Assemble worked cos we got movies to begin with focusing on the characters, these Young Avengers (apart from Kamala and Kate) haven't had much and people don't technically give a crap about them... If they make a huge movie and it bombs, then thats it for them but a series allows more screentime, development of certain characters and the movie won't feel rammed full of stuff.
All of these changes mean that Disney+ is probably not going to be worth the cost if they throttle the series and movies and cut the budgets. Disney was quick to increase the cost when Marvel was booming. And when was that She-Hulk post credit scene with Hulk and his son?
Honestly, one of the best Young Avengers stories (besides the children's crusade, obviously), was when Kid Loki got them to reunite, and through manipulation adding himself, prodigy, and America Chavez to the group, so that they could take on and defeat an extradimensional eldritch horror named "Mother". It was kind of epic.

I liked the original run (which I read years after it was published, after not reading comics for some time) and Children's Crusade. The thing I liked best about the series you mention is some of the characters who were added in, like Prodigy and Noh-Varr, and their later interactions with some of the older Young Avengers and other Marvel characters. Loki's been established in various comics as being able to change gender at will, and it was nice to have lesbian representation added in with America. And I don't see bisexual representation very often. I'm fond of ThinkFast. 😊 I like the little stories about certain characters that are in the Marvel Pride issues.

Also i hope we see love like in Thor 5 having it being a dark movie and something happens due to the gods vs Thor that her powers get so bad that it cause time displacements in the universe and in all universes eternity hence the name destroys all the afterlifes and Thor being so distraught, and conflicting and angry that he try to honor gorr wish but in the end he cause a incursion that sets up secret wars and suddenly a green portal appears he goes in and he reunited with Loki and all his pain sadness and failure that he hugs his brother so tight and Loki said there isn’t a another way to save Jane Heindall father me or others but there others we can still save and Thor joins dr strange mutilverse team

Marvel is definitely getting back on the right track.
They are avoiding the day and date release, as well as prioritizing theater releases first, and focusing on proper character build-up.
Yes, the biggest part of this is mostly just re-prioritizing theatrical over disney plus.

I saw a theory that the infinity stones are being reborn in a sense in a human avatar. Loki is the time stone. Scarlet Witch is the reality stone. It talked a little about who could be the other ones, but it sounds like an interesting theory.

I don't think it's that bad an idea if Marvel continues with 4 major pillars- Avengers, X-men, fantastic four, and Spiderman. I personally believe that when we speak of the MCU, we kinda only mean Earth 1999999. I think that universe us too crowded now. let the fantastic four enter that universe and taking leading role. And create two adjacent universes - one Spiderman focused with only his characters and perhaps a bit more. And an X men universe. And these characters will be part of a grand plot which mainly focuses on these 3 universes in terms of emotional investment in the characters. How do u like it???
Hopefully not literally 3 different universes, but if you are suggesting the big 4 that you mentioned were the 4 corners of the singular MCU universe that build up and come together for something bigger, I’d be interested.
@@codycooper6949 no so I do intend on these characters interacting obviously. If not all but atleast the most important ones who have a direct role in the narrative. This will happen through the concept of incursions and the three universes kinda clashing with each other and therefore these elements get a chance to interact. My only suggestion is that given how important the X men are, I want them to be given enough space to be developed and we can explore their story and initial adventures in their own reality only to realise that the fate of these 3 universes is intertwined
That makes sense, it would take 10+ years to rebuild the X-men if they completely started fresh

Coz what future do u see beyond secret wars and battle world. Like isn't the multiverse the endgame of Marvels story telling journey???

Hey Charlie, quick question. Do you think they are going to do a full on origin story of the fantastic four? or do you think they are going to take the route some of the newer super hero movies (for example batman) have taken and done a "year 2" or later kind of thing.
They will probably do a version of an origin story. But not in the same way as the previous fantastic four movies.
I feel like they should just take like 10 years off, the superhero fatigue set in for me after Avengers End Game

The point was more so they keep referring to Kate as a kid and she is in her 20's, not the Young Avengers title in itself.

Love the video! Great ideas as usual. I'd love to see an MCU Young Avengers movie where someone crashes in from the future, maybe Iron Lad or Morgan Stark or TChalla Jr, just as Ms Marvel struggles to convince the final team member. This future person could bring news about a mess of Kang variants, or some other time traveling bad guy, to help bring the team together before Secret Wars.
By 2027 this will be like watching Borderlands.
