I feel like Black Limba has become the new hotness for custom bodies. It's not too too heavy, but has a beautiful mahogany-esque grain that looks like magic under clear coat.
I love wood and the patterns you get from it. This looks superb so far. Not many would have the patience to insert 5 hours worth of opal bits like you just did.
Once again, this is going to be a breathtakingly good looking guitar. It's no longer a surprise when you see it of course- at this point it would only be a surprise if Dan makes something bad-looking or even merely normal- but that doesn't make it any less impressive. Seriously good work here man.
For us that are patient I will say the finished guitar will be......Glorious. ✌️🎸✌️👌🎸
Looks gorgeous mate. Love the opal inlays 👍🏼👍🏼
The comfort carve on the back really brought out the beautiful figure in that timber. Nice work.

Absolutely stunning!
Great build video.
All the best.

That is so beautiful. Love watching your builds.
"Pokey Stones" sounds like a great band name.
Great build mate, love how easy you make it look, so thorough explanation…especially love the “you’re welcome”part…straight to the bone…🤘
One word. Lovely

You seem to love limba wood and opal 😊😊
In your shop, is “a Random Orbital Sander” just any kind of sander that’s lying around? 😁
🤘🏻👁️🤘🏻. Carpe diem. 🇦🇷
Залипательное видео.
What did you use for the wood hardener for the Limba ?
It's actually just called "wood hardener" www.minwax.com/en/products/maintenance-repair-tools/high-performance-wood-hardener
Ah yes. Gold ole Minwax. Trusty as ever. Thanks dude ✌️
@@OrbitalGuitars how many coats ? Just the wood hardener ? Any sand and polish ?
