Why couldn't it be money city 2 :(
This game seriously needs the capability for players to upgrade and enhance your troops. Like for example, I would really want to upgrade my dart monkey to a crossbow monkey with a proportional amount of gold. Also, there should be a kind of monkey knowledge system implemented that buffs your troops and cards as you progress so you become stronger over time. Also, blooms pop had an extremely cool merge function that allowed you to combine troops to form MEGA towers. I hope this game does something similar where if you have two cards of the same type on your hand, you can merge them together and get an EVOLVED version of the troop which you can even upgrade to make more powerful. Can’t wait to see temple of the sun god added to this game as well as its EVOLVED version (the vengeful sun god). Also, I am excited for paragons to release (which most likely won’t be buffable but their EVOLVED version only becomes available after upgrading them to tier 10 (equivalent to tier 100 in btd6).

Just hearing about this game makes me really consider the unique place ninjakiwi is in right now. The Bloons TD franchise was a spinoff of a really old game they made. Not only that, but they also made spinoffs for the spinoff! Realistically, they could kinda do anything at this point and get away with it. There really isn't a canon despite there being established stories and lore, and all of the gameplay throughout the entire series is so unique and diverse!
Despite my praise, what this means for the future of Bloons at large is largely up for debate and could be tipped over very easily if it ends up in the wrong hands. As of now, however, I'm really hopeful for the future of Ninjakiwi, and I'm incredibly excited to see anything they have planned!

they found a really interesting way to port bloons to a card game, this one is so unique I can't create relations between any other card game I played (except a very specific mechanic on inscryption), it will be a very fresh experience
To me, feels most similar to pvz heroes. Not at all saying this is a ripoff or anything, but the gameplay seems somewhat similar in a number of ways. I'm excited for when it comes out!

What I've noted is that this seems closest to, of all things, Hearthstone.
...I say this as a PvZ Heroes player who's seen, like, _three_ Hearthstone vids from RT Game.
The big thing throwing people off is that Minions are now split into Attackers and Defenders, with Defenders being the weaker half of the equation so you're not stuck in stalemate hell.
This actually takes queues from Battles, too!

Your main problem was retaining some cards on hand. Your strat almost worked, just required a "draw 2 cards" to keep aggressing.

The defense vs the pink rush are towers like Tack Shooters. Tack have a passive to attack at attacking bloons, so they can attack even outside of your own turn if they have ammo.
Still I think the pink rush is broken only costing 4

This and PVZ Heros somehow are actually really interesting and unique ports of tower defence games into cards.

Hey ISAB, some card things to know.
Aggro is essentially a lot of small cards with small impact which you saw when they sent a ton of red
Control tries their best to keep their life as high as possible and use big cards with big impact to win the game. Which you did to win that game with ceramics
Usually control beats aggro but if they draw god hands it happens. I bet there is a mid range deck which is a mix of both aggro and control that is the best of both world
All I got from this is this s basically gonna be like "Card Battles" from Battles 1 but on steroids
I always had a vague memory of this but no one else did and i thought i was going crazy. thank god someone else knew about it

Just a tip Isab, with games like these order is EVERYTHING. For example, a key part of that Quincy Aggressive deck is Embiggen. Sure you could play your red swarms immediately, but if you wait to get embiggen and then fill the board with reds, you get EXTREME value. You should also generally save your bloon cards to do some sort of combo, because if the cards aren't on the field and don't have long wait timers, then playing them too soon lets the enemy get more value out of their monkeys. Order. Is. Everything.

control seems wild since you dont lose gold as your turn ends. the play pattern of trading like 3 for 1 with your opponent any time they try and do anything and stockpiling moabs that are impossible to deal with
Man, I remember the card game mode in bloons td battles, and honestly, it was one of my favourite modes of all time

I feel like stacking red bloons and embiggen is probably gonna be really strong. Imagine you have 2 cards for red swarm like Dabloon did at the start of game 2, except you also have 2 embiggens. Use everything on the same turn for only 8 coins, that's 720 total damage on a one turn delay. I don't know if storm of arrows will take care of all that
Hey ISAB, just noticed a small quirk to Obyn that buffs druid strategies a bit. Unless it's been added before and I'm dumb, level 8 Obyn now gives camo detection to druids, making obyn + druid of the forest/jungles bounty a cheap way to handle the 40's

This actually looks pretty fun, albeit a bit bare-bones but I see a fun base for a card game here after a few updates to increase card and hero variety!
I thought the card game from Battles 1 was undercooked but had a lot of potential.
The extended BM with that 500 damage to face trying to play as many cards as humanly possible was great.
his completely unawareness of how his bloons are supposed to attack the moment his turn ends as long as they have a red border around them is cracking me up so much, isab is unintentionally BMing 😭

I like the idea that this game represents a timeline where the Monkeys did finally defeat and take control over the Bloons, however in a medieval kingdom type scenario they are now feuding amongst each other, and employ bloons and monkey alike to establish dominance over the other heroes.

This game actually looks good. I'm definitely gonna try it out when it releases, I'm not usually a card game player either but bloons + any game genre just sounds fun.
This is similar to a card mini game in the first btd battles which is cool
This game genuinely looks super fun, and I'll absolutely be picking it up at launch.
I also realize that this is a perfect game for Ninja Kiwi to add Agent Jericho to; his PvP orientation from BTDB2 would fit extremely well here.

I think an interesting twist that could have been done is make the game work like card games in battles 1 where bloons and monkeys are on the same card and you have to pick which side of the card you want to use
As someone who loves Bloons and played a ton of Blizzard's card game Hearthstone, this could have big potential for me
I loved the BTD battles card game and was pretty sad there wasn't a newer version in BTD battles 2, but now I can't wait until this is out.

I love card games that use the advantage of digital implementation. Automatic queueing up of the bloons seems to be quite intuitive, save for the round timer of the next wave.
i had an idea like this in the btd4 era when i was like 8. it's so weird to see this be an actual game.

If there's one feature I'm looking forward to, its a deck creator. You have prefabs for when you start the game, but then you make your own strategies and then we have a whole community for it. Its gonna be fun!

it seems like they're using big number values on the bloon health and tower damage for no real reason. dividing the damage and health values by 10 would reduce clutter and be easier to digest imo. might just be a pet peeve of mine.
