The way the world is atm, it would probably be the best thing
LOL
I certainly agree with you
Yep 👍
if you go back dozens or even hundreds of years is it any better?
The death of human kind what have we become monsters.
Who else here listening to this just to fall asleep
No bro. I'm listening to this just to come awake.
❤
Me
You don't have to watch the screen is the whole beauty of it.
😆😆 thought it was just me that do that
All things considered, it would come as a relief, to be honest.
I agree.
Time to let something else have a try at peace. Wait, it'll just be robots. 😅
LOL
Agreed. I'm over paying bills
😂😂 your soo right
Going to sleep listening to this 😂 let's see how this goes
I do that The dreams be wild🤯
I think my dream will be bad one😂😂😂
At this day and time I couldn't bring another child in this cruel world
What good will tracking all these objects do now that Bruce Willis is retired?
Awh Bruce Willis😔💔
Just send Batfleck. He survived the movie didn’t he? Can’t remember 😝
I could swear they taught us in school that most asteroids were a hundred miles across and larger. Now suddenly most asteroids are pebbles. I wish science would make up its mind.
All shapes and sizes, duh
These days it would be a dream come true
AMEN!

Nah life is pretty good 👍 👌 😌 ❤
Let's just make it a better place
Hahaha ...
I can agree. I sometimes feel like the others above, but there's so many options.
Every critical problem humans have can still be conquered somehow.
Drinkable water? We can do everything from have better desalination plants, to taking small meteors and belting the ice within it. With a bonus of extra precious metals with each meteor we get.
In order to not make the comment any longer and sound crazy, LOL humans got this if we put in work
Brilliant documentary 👏
We learned so much thing in this vedeo.
It will help to understand especially for our next generation. 🙏🏼👍
I love this type of jazz
me too would be an amazing thing to see hopefully it just be a small one though and hits the antarctic or somewhere else less populated
We'd be screwed. Good night.....😁
Time to leave this planet for Mars before it is too late..
@@jasonmilton Might not be far enougb away! 😁
😂
I have had enough I'm ready for the astroid.
LOL... nah, hang in there like we all have to eh.

I almost watched this video until I read this, "Human activities have been the main driver of climate change, primarily due to the burning of fossil fuels like coal, oil and gas." After reading that I rolled my eyes thinking to myself, "If you are going to teach me anything then at least know history better then I do." The earth has already been much, much warmer with CO2 concentrations higher then humans would ever dream of creating no matter how hard we try and the world flourished with life. The carboniferous period seen the world covered in forest which in turn created more food for plant eaters which in turn created more food for meat eaters which in turn helped to reduce CO2 levels. So I wouldn't worry about using fossil fuels, instead worry about cutting down forest, because without forests CO2 levels will rise faster then burning fossil fuels ever could.
I read the same thing and did the same thing. A million factors to calculate for climate change but these idiots think its all human caused. It's all based on ignorance not science.
they still don't know what oil is made from or where it comes from. Hint: it's not dead leaves and dinosaur guts.
I always wonder how things would be now if that meteor didnt strike. The way the world is now, i think we need this to happen again. It would almost be cleansing it.
only for history to repeat itself
Having lived in Brazil for twenty years, we had an expression that demonstrated our feelings about these type of events. Put your left hand out as-if you were going to shake someone's hand but do the "sign language" O-sign. Take your right hand and close all fingers as-if your were going to salute. Now bring the right hand over the left hand and strike the O-sign. Bring the right hand upward a foot and repeat the striking movement. Repeat two more times. This is how we demonstrated our expectations to our friends.
Cool
Good lord.
Your channel is thriving. Congrats
@21:47 you erroneously converted 0.2C/0.5C to its equivalent in F, when you should have converted the delta T C to delta T F (0.36F/0.9F).
Bravo! 👏
showoff..What Nerd is going to do that conversion
Isn't that a rather dumb question? If you're a resident of earth, then the answer is always bad.
If there's an asteroid coming I say just let it hit this world needs a restart
Maybe for you 🤦🏽♂️
I doubt it
For you
What a nice thing to say to a child or baby!
@@michealjeffery5079 do you think they would even tell us they would say that we have got one on way but its gonna be a near miss so nothing to worry about then all of a sudden BANG oops we got the calculations wrong lol
Thank you 🙏
Bring it on!
Is way more likely that we nuke ourselves into oblivion than an asteroid of that magnitude hit us.
Lots of large objects have impacted the earth over the last 4 billion years, but who knows?
@@wile-e-coyote8371 sure, and a large one that would destroy humanity will likely hit some time in the next 5 million years. I’m just saying nukes are WAY more of a threat in our lifetime that’s for sure. Plus we have very little but some control over the bombs, we have no control over an asteroid.
Apophis 2034
@@pamelamehl5668 there is only a 2.7% chance it will hit. The possibility of nuclear war at this point is higher than that for sure. Probably pretty close to 40% chance of nuclear war in the next 10 years if we keep heading down the path we are currently on geopolitically speaking.
I get knocked down but I get up again
Ain't nothing gonna keep me down...
That would answer my prayer
they hit us a lot more frequent than a lot of people believe
They do sir but not the big ones as they are world enders
@@TheToxicWaltz121 depends on what you call big anything over 100m is big enough to cause a lot of damage and kill millions
An asteroid hitting us ? That would be way too easy .
BRING IT!!! 🙌🤲🙏
I like this video so so much like you can imagine 😍🥰
Planet Earth is not yet familiar to us with its wonders. We still don't know what's going on 50 kilometers away, and we must be diligent in preserving it.
Watching here late at night in order to fall asleep. Anyhow, El nino in Philippines is so very hoooot, disrupting water related business' and severe drought. On the other hand, la Nina is completely the opposite, heavy rainfall and severe flooding. The adverse effect on both so called phenomenon is very chaotic. It's true, its effect changes overtime to worst.
Honestly, we could send hundreds of kinetic impactor rockets to hit it and knock it off course. A 1/100th degree alteration over the course of 20 million miles would make the thing miss like it wasnt even coming for us.
That's just a theory, we need to run more experiments to make sure. Plus it's not just the big one's we need to worry about. We have overwhelming evidence that the smaller one's are a bigger threat than the big one's💁♂️
@@Roger-fs5yo yes the small ones are like an atomic bomb dropping. Thankfully the planet is mostly water but that doesnt mean it can't land in a city.
@ericreid8111 indeed💁♂️
But what if the earth encounters a cluster of Tunguska sized objects, that bombard the planet? They estimate the objects that blew up over Siberia in 1908 unleashed around 15 megatons. What if we encounter a cluster of "I don't know" 50 of those objects?
I wouldn't wanna be around for that day😟
No no no.
I have to go listen to some Aerosmith now.
ROCK ON, Brother! 😍🥰👍👍 I'll be 60 in November!! WTF!! 😜All the good ol' bands still get me going though!, ...Iron Maiden was my #1, but also loved Scorpions, Sabbath, Ozzy, Dio, ...everything metal!!! 💖 Loved the lesser-known metal bands too, like "Budgie", , "Yngwie Malmsteen", ... you name it!! So MANY awesome musicians!!!! Definitely an era to remember!!! 🥰💖👍👍 Peace, dude, and CHEERS!! 🍻 Alberta, Canada, says, "HEY!!" 😁 ROCK ON!!
Songs like, "The Final Countdown" (Europe), and so many Black Sabbath tunes, etc, seem to have so much MORE meaning now!! ...But then, so do 60's tunes, like a band called "The Fifth Dimension", ..."Age Of Aquarius", ...LIKE, WTFFFFF??!!!! SO BIZARRE!!!
Don't wanna clooose my eyeees. Don't wanna faaall asleep cause I miss you baby, and I don't wanna miss a thing

Yes Sir - You Now Have me Hearing the Remaining Lyrics That Steven Tyler is Singing in my Mind and afterwards I will be Fading Away as he is Telling me to "DREAM ON"...
You poor thing 🤮
I could use a vacation
Very cool blows my tiny mind.
No we should not worry because it is out of our control. Live everyday to its fullest.
We do not need to worry in next 100 years or so
Yes, very much YES
I’m worried that a Utah-sized asteroid WON’T hit the earth at half the speed of light in half an hour.
Bring it on.
Will it be possible that scientists can find solutions to this impact.
This video does nothing to show what would happen if an asteroid hit the earth.
😂
Thanks for the heads up this video sounds like a waste of time lol
Thnx I just knew it was stupid
Let’s not give the universe any ideas
Good point
As they say when it's over it's over we don't have a say,it will be a boom gone.
Than is the Earth happy 😌
It's not what if but when
Well, if one hit earth now, itd knock out all cell phone operation. The way people are now, theyd die just from that. 😂 No phones?? What ever shall we do?? Few would survive. 😂
no internet would be the best thing for us. many would rediscover what the "outside" is.
One thing is for certain, in the long run the earth will end up just fine. Natural re-boot of nature.
Odd timing that this video was released and a couple weeks later an astroid just came through our atmosphere
This will hit Earth. And all wealthy people KNOW THIS
I trust "The Science "
Love the SDO, I go on that daily it's great to watch especially now as we approach the solar maximum!
This event was much more than this single event. Science doesn't know what really happened at this time. There is no 66 million years ago.
We are not ready for a asteroid
Let's be real we have no idea how non organic material became organic. If we did we could say for certain it would happen elsewhere
It's not asteroids we should worry about... it's comets
God said he would not kill humanity with water ever again but never said anything about fire.
NO, WE SHOULDN'T WORRY.
Just be glad space is the safest place to hide
Sadly, I think it would be well deserved. We're a terrible species. Being a psychopath that is devoid of empathy is common place now.. only takes a couple generations to overrun the population with hereditary psychopaths. But that's darwinism doing it's thing.
Our population is overgrown to a point darwinism can't behave normally. We rely on world wars to stabilize population vs resources and the Millions that die have nothing to do with adaptation, it's just tragic loss
Somebody who thinks clearly, I like it.
Well if it hit America or the UK I wouldn't be mad at it.
Let's hope it's the USA first.
We "may"all grow wings in the year,2023-2024
If I could order one from Amazon, the size of Texas, I would. Next day air!
I hear only El Niño or La Niña , annoying
What if we throw chunks of ice from the moon at them with catapults made with lasers and ice
Lasers to guide the GPS like a rocket 🚀 with a camera operator that's sending things that follow and let a copy find materials when in the area and dropping others like bread crumbs to make more and a path for a railroad type of base that connects after centuries with huge areas fir people to live
We are worried about fireballs from space.
Asteroids don't hit earth, meteorites do!
Hemeroids are a bigger problem 😂
If a Astoria hits us we will be done
Aisia. Use the 0il for diesel and nobody sees that there is no need to pull up crude oil? But we are going through the change from oil too electricity and the abuse that goes with it!
Let it rip
To answer the title, no. Worrying only degrades the self and accomplishes nothing that will solve the problem.
Better than a nuclear outbreak.. I guess.
Time to leave this planet for Mars before it is too late..
My suffering will finally end.
Asteroids hit Earth every year. The author(s) of this video dont seem to realise that. The only variation is in the size of them
Giant Astroid 2024
I believe that an F-35 can knock out a 6 mile rock, out the sky ,if detected in × friends, humble opinion
Not moving at 35,000 miles an hour or whatever ridiculous speed they’re traveling at. It’s a problem of geometry. You have to see it far enough away so you can nudge it just a little bit and it’ll be enough by the time it gets here if you wait till it’s on top of us ain’t no way.
Ultimate kamikaze mission. You want to move that Apophis you talk to me.😅
What
I'm Thinking very good and good year
I am still worried about asteroids.
Humans need to focus on a response to this but they’re too busy with greed and dominance to do it We’re doomed to extinction if we don’t make significant behavioral changes.😮
Coulda swore he jus said “Jacob” wst 😅😭😭
In answer to your question...you should add: A G A I N...?
Was thinking if it's a really big one. We all die but regroup and give it another try wonder how many times this has happened
I believe it's happened more than once. Our knowledge and advancement can and have been lost, sometimes rediscovered. Easily lost. Just a thought.
if copmets leave trails it might be that smallep particles loose kinetic energyx faster , because gravuty or heat forces pushing element from comet or space has density like air
"copmets" "smallep" "energyx" "gravuty" LMAO 😂 maybe you should turn off that stupid predictive text, or check your spelling ... or are you inventing a new language? thanks I needed a 😂😂
Its. .a. .part. .of. Solar. System
Why would anyone worry? Not like we can do anything about it lol
We could do alot about it but if one comes in two weeks notice yes youre right we'd be done for end extinction time.
The narrator's voice reminds me of the Mass Effect"s codex narrator.
14:28 Bruce Willis did that already
What the fuck do you want us to do about it ? 😂
I am worried about asteroids.
12:30 Apophis does indeed present us with great opportunity. Military opportunity. If we can direct towards a certain South pacific location...
I don’t think Humanity’s opinion would matter.
Should we worry about a rocket from space hitting the planet?
Did the caveman invent fire?
I feel that the scientists would be happy if something of this magnitude could happen to all of us
It's like waiting for the dinosaurs to come back to life 😮😅😅😅.
Maybe not.
Tick
We should worry if we can do something about it. We can't control nature or any universal event. 🤔
In short, a huge chunk of population will die.
Do you think you could give us a break with the annoying sound affects?
What if the earth hit the asteroid instead?
🎉 cool
Music (or whatever that noise is) is far too loud!
Those darn children and their loud music!!! Ahhhh
Nope! A relief!
