I just came back from Brazil and did both cities, I prefer São Paulo over Rio all the way. The people and nightlife is amazing! A lot of money there as well.
Thanks for checking out the video brotha. Like I said, you can’t go wrong with either spot. Brazil is a win win all the way around. You gonna love rio bruh. When I’m in Rio I’m feeling rio more, when I’m in São Paulo I say São Paulo is better haha. Peace bro
As a Brazilian I agree with most of your analysis! One mistake was about weather. São Paulo usually is very humid too, not so dry as you say in the begining of the video. Safety is much better, way better than in Rio! Just one data: São Paulo has 5,5 murders per 100.000 inhabitants per year, which is better than several big US cities. Rio has 18, three times more! Thec same for other crimes. São Paulo offers much more opportunities for business and for jobs, that's why it grew so much! Rio is reaaly good for beach life.
If you're looking for variety, go to SP, it's about 10x bigger than Rio. But most of our parties, are "nomades'. They don't stay at the same place for more than 2 or 3 weeks. That's why, some of than, are hard to be found.

Just found your channel tonight. I'm getting re acquainted with south america through RUclips. Absolutely love Sâo Paulo. In my top ten to retire. Great update. Keep it up buddy, we all appreciated very much CHEERS 🙏
just go back few days ago from both places. I actually find Sao Paulo pricier. Rio is cheaper for typical Brazilian food and Sao Paulo, more for unique cuisines. What did you do at Villa-Lobos? I enjoyed Ibirapuera Park a lot, riding around.
Yeah I would say SP is pricier for food, but the food is much much better. The airbnbs are cheaper in SP in peak season. I prefer SP to Rio. If I want beach in Brazil I’d hit Salvador, but that’s just me. Vila lobos is cool, but I think Ibirapuera is the park to be at. More esthetically pleasing and much more to do. Better calisthenicsparks too. Peace bro
This seems to be a very charming place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
I would recommend you to visit the country side of both states. Rio de Janeiro State is much more tha just the Rio de Janeiro city, either São Paulo. São Paulo state particularly has everything anyone could wish for (beautiful beaches, mountains and the richest cities in the country). I also recommend you to visit Florianopolis, place where the most beautiful girls in the world lives that also has one of the coolest beaches and night life in the country. Salvador, Maceio, Recife and others are others incredible places that I would love to see you vloging.
I definitely need to check out the country side. Looking forward to taking a longer trip to really do some exploring. Florianopolis and Salvador have definitely been on my radar though. Thanks for the recommendations and the information brotha! Peace
Not sure what ticket prices are now, but I got tickets from Rio to São Paulo for about 50$ one way. One week per spot would be perfect for the first time. Everything is pretty cheap down there
@@Hybridathletes would you recommend Medellin or Brazil for a first time solo traveler looking for girls...not necessarily prostitutes but just regular girls
mike b Brazil, but depends on your flavor. Brazil is more diverse. Less prostitution in Brazil for sure. You can meet professional women in Brazil. Colombia meeting any woman other then a prostitute is not gonna happen if your just in town for a week and don’t speak Spanish fluent lol. Colombia has a great median for fine women though, but for top notch Brazil has the edge all day

Thanks for the content as usual. Which is an area that is close to the nightlife and the beach so that you avoid that heavy traffic? I know you are into Hip Hop and do you know if they play EDM (I am talking about SP in all of my questions). Thanks!
Copacabana beach, ipanema beach are in walking distance from each other. Plenty of bars and clubs in those areas. Honestly they didn’t have much Hip Hop in Brazil and I didn’t hear any EDM. I mostly heard Brazilian music, which is also good. I’m sure you can find some places that have EDM though.
I've watched a lot of travel videos but you do it better than anyone. To everyone else I recommend you check out several cities Medellin as well. Dress nice, be friendly, go out and speak the local language every day it will work for you.
Well done with your video, you've hit the nail right on the head. Rio prices are ridiculous! It's because they had the World Cup and Olympics there. When these events happened prices in Rio for everything sky rocketed, and haven't come down much since. For example all the beach bar huts were yellow then and all sponsored by Skol. The price back then, before those events for beer or caiprinha was 3 reais. For a large one it was 5. However in 2020 the cheapest price I've seen at the Copacabana/Ipanema beach bars for a small beer is 15, and 20 for a small caiprinha, and I've only seen two places with those prices! Restaurants and even street vendors have increased their prices ridiculously! Your bang on correct about how your treated in Rio compared to Paulo Very good video
